Burning

Shi Ai felt as in her whole body was on fire.And the fire was spread on the inside as well as the outside.She tried to move but her body seemed immovable.Her throat was parched and the burning sensation made her want to claw at it.The feeling of helplessness and hopelessness was so deep that she believed she was dead..But even as Shi Ai's mind struggled to fight the fire,her body lay peacefully on the bed in a medically induced sleep.No sign that she was in the throes of a nightmare was visible.
