A Brother's Heart

As Zhang Min walked out of the room and away from the sympathetic eyes of Ryu Long, he was nearly unable to hold onto his composure. Only after he had made a turn down the corridor did he lean against the wall and leaning his head back, closed his eyes. They had come together to witness Ah Hai's and Shi Ai's hard earned happiness but instead he had to be the bearer of such horribly sad news. Ever since the first time he had met Ah Hai, he had looked up at the man as his idol. To see such a man almost crumbling made him realise how unpredictable and unstable life really was. He almost wished that he had announced the news with his back turned so that he would not have seen the momentary happiness in the man's eyes before it was suppressed forcefully. He had seen the anticipation a new father would have had.And then kill that anticipation.

The amount of pain he felt for his sister was unbearable so Zhang Min could only imagine what Ah Hai must be going through.
