Rescue Mission

“Look, I’m okay, I just want to see someone” Jack let her go but followed her from a distance.

"What are they doing! I knew Clara was up to something, how can she confront this man alone with that good for nothing Zack” he murmured in his hiding place as he watch both of them go into Lincoln's house, Jack followed them but when he got to the gate he saw two bodyguards lying dead on the floor.

“Who killed them, is it Zack or Clara?” He asks in his head as he tiptoes into the compound.

“Where are they?” he looked to the right and then to the left but a hand grab him and drag him into a room with his mouth covered.

“Shh…” Zack said to him but Clara was like “What are you going here?”

“To help what else?” he finds himself saying because he has no excuse to give.

“Just stay behind,” Zack told him but he murmured. “Why will I stay behind you? are you trying to play the hero in front of her?” Zack heard him and he only gave him a hard look and continue tiptoeing into the compound.

He didn’t think it was the right time to pick a fight with him.

“You shouldn’t be here you know?” Clara told Jack that he wants Clara to see him as her hero too, he wants to do something for her because he is beginning to notice that Zack has an interest in Clara and he wants to use every opportunity he has to impress her.

“Don’t worry about me, let’s just do what we have to do to…..” he paused as he now realize that he didn’t even know why they are here.

“We are here to rescue Zack's mother,” Clara told him and he regrets ever being there. “Oh, right, then let’s do it,” he said faking a smile and wishing he can just turn back and leave.

They search every room but no sign of her, but Jack knows what Both Clara and Zack don’t know about Lincoln.

“Come let’s go to his glass room,” he told them but Zack refuse to take orders from him.

“What do you know? we are going to search all the cell houses” Zack suggested.

“Well I know this place more than you, I’ve been here and I know Lincoln is probably showcasing your mother to his investors.

“What? How did you know that?”

"Because I’ve been here before, follow me” he ordered and Clara tilt her neck indicating they should follow him.

They followed him and true to his words Zack's mother is inside the glass room.

Mr. Lincoln is using her to buy time for his project telling his investors that the woman inside the glass room is Sandra and that she will soon give birth.

He has refused any of the investors to go closer to the room, they have to look from a distance.

Zack wanted to rush at his mother but Clara held him back.

“What are you doing? Can’t you see the guards?”

“Of course I see them, but I will take them out and recuse my mother.”
