Perhaps by miracle

“Maybe is time to put an end to this” he grab her and lifted her high, he wanted to let go so she crash onto the floor but his pregnant Sandra shouted covering her eyes.

“No! Alex, don’t… don’t kill her” she started to sob and Alex brought her down and push her out of the house.

“Go and tell Lincoln that I’m alive, tell him to watch his back” Alex yells at Blaze and Sandra as they left the house, but pregnant Sandra was shaking like a leaf.

“Are you okay?” Alex rushed her taking her into their room.

“Were you going to kill her?” she ask and Alex saw the fear in her eyes.

“Why is she so afraid? She’s never going to get used to me”.

“Come to me” Alex stretch his hand to pull her closer but she reluctantly shifted to his side.

“Are you afraid of me?” she didn’t say a word, she just looked at him the way she did that day she saw him change.

“You don’t have to” she muttered.

“I know, and I’m sorry,” he said but didn’t mean it, he just wanted to calm her down but killing Sandra and Blaze is part of his plan.

“I don’t want you to turn into a monster completely,” she said giving him a baby face and placing her head on his chest, Alex just nods and comb her hair with his fingers.

Sandra and Blaze got home and narrated to Lincoln what they saw, but actually, Sandra did the narration because Blaze has been mute all the time, she’s now like a robot who just takes orders.

“Impossible!” Lincoln yell and call Mr. Eyeglass.

“What! It has never been told before” eyeglass exclaimed.

"They may be telling you lies,” he told Lincoln over the phone and he was furious.

"You!, you girls are lying to me, bring me the girl, simple instructions and you are here telling me Alex is alive”

“But we are saying the truth”

“It was all a lie, I was there when he fell into the pool, you don’t mean to tell me that by some magic he manages to escape without being seen” Lincoln yells at them.

“That is exactly what we are saying, or perhaps by some miracle he could survive you know?” Blaze spoke for the first time in weeks.

“Are you insane? you dare talk to me about a miracle?”  he took a step toward Blaze but Sandra pull her backward.

“Mr. Lincoln we are sorry, but I think Alex is more powerful now than before”

"Shut up, and take me to see him, I must look at him in the face and confirm it. Throw them to the dungeon” he orders his men and they grab Blaze and Sandra dragging them away.

“But you told me you don’t have a dungeon!” Sandra yells asking Lincoln as they drag them away.

“Yeah, sorry sweetheart, I lied”

“You pay for this” she yells and the men throw them into the dungeon.

The place was so dark they couldn’t see a thing.

“Blaze… Blaze are you there?” she ask because she wasn’t hearing a sound from her.
