Narrow escape

"Hitting the road to work, Alex notice two cars trailing him, he stepped on the accelerator and went on high speed, and the two cars did the same.

“Alex texted Zack, Brian, and Jack, he waited but no reply from the three of them.

He called Jack on the phone several times but he didn’t pick up. “Shit!” He curse, he immediately called Sandra but she said everything is fine, “Oh thank goodness” he called Clara and she said Jack has gone to work.

“What is going on?”

“Zack, can you hear me? If you can then I need you to protect Sandra for me, I think I've been tracked by someone, I don’t know who sent them.

One of the cars catches up with Alex and releases a bullet right to his head but he bends his head and the bullet past over his head.

Alex has no gun with him and so he was confused about what to do now, he never wants to use his powers but under this circumstance, he has no choice, his eyes turned red but he never wants to change into a dragon, what will people say? , is daytime and if he dears to change to a dragon, the police will chase it until they caught him.

He’s not willing to expose himself in that manner.

"What do I do now, ?" the men are closing in on him and he has to save himself or die.

He opened his mouth and fire come out of his mouth burning the first car and everyone in it.

"What’s that?” the men in the second car ask.

"I don’t know"

"Did you see that fire coming out of his mouth? he’s a monster. Stop the car!” one of the men said.

There was an argument between them and Alex use the opportunity to escape.

He hurried into his office, everything is okay, he went to Jack's office, his phone is there but he was not in his seat.

“Shit!” he curse “I hope they didn’t abduct him?” he was still standing there worried when Jack walked in.

“What is wrong with you man? do you have to leave your phone and go out!” he yelled at Jack.

“Hey… calm down, I just stepped out a bit, besides I have to look around you know, I saw this beautiful….” Alex grab him by the collar.

“We are in deep shit, and you dare talk to me about beautiful girls?”

“Hey… calm down, you’re choking me” Alex let off his collar.

“You don’t look okay, what is going on?”

“I almost die today, I narrowly escaped, but I don’t know who sent them, maybe is Lincoln, or Evelyn, but I doubt if Evelyn is capable of such, it has to be Lincoln.”

“You are underestimating that Evelyn, she might be more dangerous than her father you know?”

“No! Is not Evelyn, is Lincoln, we need to visit him”

Alex called Zack again but he was right in his house looking after Sandra.

“You don’t have work today?” she ask Zack, as he sat down pretending to be tired.
