Alex change the question by asking him if he can read people's mind.

“Yeah kind of”. Zach said raising his glass towards the girl who keeps eyeing Alex.

“I think she likes you” Zack said motioning for her to join them.

“What do you think you are doing” Alex ask Zack not knowing why he has to follow him around. He is beginning to think that maybe his parents send Zack to monitor his movement.

“Of course not your parents didn’t ask me to monitor your movement so you don't have to be afraid” Zack told Alex.

“Will you stop doing that, why do you keep reading my mind?, I don’t like you” Alex said walking away from him.

“And stop following me too”.

“Is ok not many people like me anyways” he said letting Alex go.

 “So how is he?” Xenia ask Zack, the girl who was eyeing Alex.

“Hmmm, he’s ok, I think he is powerful but I don’t think he knows that yet”

“He needs some guardians which his parents can’t give to him, maybe we should try and help him”.

“That is if he agreed, he just told me that he hates me right now” Zack said.

“You can't blame he’s just afraid that you’ll see through him”

“Whatever, he is just privilege to be the head of the clan, it's not as if he’s stronger than me.”

“ Are you jealous” Xenia ask Zack.

“Why would I be, he's just clueless”

“Stop it Zack, let's go we are running late” they both disappeared into thin air and Alex like saw them from where he was standing and he gaps.

“What the f*ck just happened there?” He ask himself silently.

“This is all one big joke, is just a nightmare and I know that I will get off from the sleep, I'm dreaming and I will get up from the dream” he try slapping his face but everything is real.

“How are you enjoying the party?” Clara ask coming from behind him.

 Alex return to see who but is Clara, so he said nothing, he turned and keep looking ahead of him.

You are needed at the front” Clara said and Alex heart sink within him.

His heart began to beat like drum, he just wish he could disappear and never come back here.

“They are waiting Alex”

“Who is waiting” he was force to ask Clara.

“They want to make the announcement”

He walked to the front feeling like he’s dead already.

He dad held up his glass cup using a spoon to draw everyone attention.
