Alex on business

Evelyn could not be angrier than this. “What is Alex trying to do? Is he trying to play me?” She walks to and fro in her house, she was so emotionally disorganized right now, she can’t go to work.

She called Alex's phone hundreds of times but no answer.

“Shit…” she was so worried. She pick up her car keys and walked outside.

"Should I go to his house? will there be drama? I don’t need any kind of drama in my life, or maybe I should just forget about Alex! Yes! That is what big girls do right? No! He's a part of me now, I can’t let go just yet”

She kept fighting with herself to go to Alex's house or not.

Finally, the phone was on.

“Hello, Alex what is going on….,

What? He hanged up on me? Let me try again.

She tried his phone hundreds of times but Alex wasn’t picking up.

“What do I do?” Alex asks Jack. “She won’t stop calling and texting, soon Sandra will notice, I’m  afraid she will leave me”

“She won’t leave you, I know that,” Jack said. “I know she loves you and won’t leave you”

“You think so?”

Jack looked at him wondering if he was this afraid. “Are you serious right now? Are you afraid that she leaves you?”

“Of course, who won’t be? I love her so much”

“So what are you doing with Evelyn if you love Sandra so much?”

"Look, is different with Evelyn, she’s not the type you want to marry, she’s so aggressive but Sandra is cool, I can stay with Sandra in a house and call it home, but with Evelyn, is constant…. You know?”

“Bad guy” Jack hailed him.

They’re still talking when his phone rings again.

“Just pick up” Jack commands him.

"Yes, I’m on my way” Was what Alex said on the phone and got up to leave.

“What!” Jack was surprised. “He’s leaving just like that!”

“Where is Alex?” Clara came out with some food.

“He’s gone”

“Gone! Why?”

He has some business to take care of,” Jack said but was unable to look at Clara’s face.

“You know I don’t trust you and Alex! What business are you talking about”

“When someone says business what do you think? Business is business and he’s got one to take care of” he said and got up to leave Clara without looking at her face.

“I see” Clara dropped the food and went to dress up.

“Where are you going?”

“Taking care of my business,” Clara said and went out the door fully ready to find out what Alex is up to.

“Shit! What is wrong with her? Why can’t she understands the simple word business?” He muttered and called Alex.

“Clara is not satisfied,” he said on the phone.

“Then satisfy her” Alex yell on the phone.

“I didn’t mean that kind of satisfaction, I mean she’s not satisfied with my explanation that you are on a business…..”

“Jack, I will talk to you later” he cut him off”
