Loss of cultivation and Poisoning

When Wu Peng was nineteen years old she had to go through a lot of ups and downs of her life. Just as she reached the beginner stage of Godly hands she was unable to cultivate anymore. She felt as if all her cultivation was soaked into her belly. When she asked her master about the cause, she came to knew that she was pregnant . Just as she was starting to get excited she heard another devastating truth. Her master said that she was poisoned with Gelsemium. It was a type of chronic poison which slowly destroyed her meridians making her unable to practice cultivation anymore leading to death.

Her master said that even if she was unable to practice anymore she was lucky enough to be pregnant because due to her broken meridians the flow of Qi in her body was unstable as a result all of her qi was absorbed by her baby. So, she was out of the danger of death but her child would be born with an immensely huge amount of Qi. Her master said that if the child does not absorb and cultivate the Qi in her body before reaching ten years, she would die of Qi explosion.

Upon hearing her Master's words Wu Peng fell into utter darkness. She begged her master to not reveal about the secret of Qi absorption to anyone. She feared that others would harm Her child if they came to knew about her child's secret. She silently swallowed all the insult and humiliation.Her family constantly pressurised her to reveal the identity of the child's father but she never uttered a single word about the child's father.

She was thrown out of her family. The emperor adopted Wu Peng as a royal princess. Wu Peng had once saved the emperor from monster attacks in the battlefield so the emperor always felt a sense of gratitude towards her. As Penger told everything to the emperor and ask for his help the emperor couldn't refuse and decided to help her.
