Chapter 3

I let out a deep sigh before attempting to open my eyes. I look around my room and my father didn't change anything when I left and I'm grateful for that. The familiarity of the room is comforting. I missed waking up at home.

Last night was amazing, being around my dad and friends was a breath of fresh air. Waking up I decided to go to the kitchen and make breakfast for dad and I. I can't remember the last time we had breakfast together so I wanted to make this special for him.

"I can't remember the last time we had breakfast together." He says, with the biggest smile on his face and that makes me so happy.

"And that is exactly why I decided to make us breakfast, Mr Coleman. It's been a while dad."

"It has been a while, kiddo." He looks at me with concern in his eyes and I already know what he's going to say. Why is that I can't go a day without the mention of his name.

"Dad, please not now. Can I just have breakfast with my father. I missed you dad, and I just want to catch up with you and not talk about him.

"Sweetheart, I know you don't want to but please we need to talk about this. I know you're hurt but you can't keep on avoiding him. I don't like him for hurting you but baby you need closure. And from my understanding, this is all a big misunderstanding. Talk to him Elisa, then you can decide if you still want nothing to do with him."

"But I don't want to talk to him." I whine

He lets out a laugh and goes around the counter to hug me, " I know you don't want to but you have to talk to him."

The reason I don't want to talk to is because if I see him again, I don't think I'll be able to resist him. Even after all these years he still holds my heart and Ryder has a way with words. I hate to admit it but I'm weak when it comes to him.

My dad seemed to figured it out why I didn't want to talk to him. "I see why you don't want to talk to him." He says, "You don't trust yourself with him, do you?"

I shake my head, "I don't."

"You scared you might take him back because you still love him." I nod, "Sweetheart, there's nothing wrong with loving him. Everyone deserves a second chance, It's no secret that I'm not his biggest fan but if I remember correctly he made you happy, and as a father that's all I care about."

I hate to admit it but he's right, so after fussing and whining I agreed with my dad about Ryder, "okay, fine I'll talk to him."

"Thank you." He kisses my temple, "I have to go see Aurora, we have a doctor's appointment today, you know, the twins are due any day now. I can't wait to see them running around the house."

"I can't wait either, I can't believe I'm going to a big sister. I guess from everything that he did, he did one thing right and that's letting the kids live."

"We'll have to protect them Elisa, those kids are going to attract a lot of trouble as they grow up because of the kind of power that they have. We'll need to keep them safe."

"Of course dad, they'll be fine, don't worry too much. You need to leave or you'll be late for your appointment, you know how Aurora feels about tardiness.

"Yeah, she'll kill me if I'm late. Oh before I forget, Brody called and he said he wants to see you today, if you're not busy."

"I'll go and see him today."

"Yeah, you should do that. I love you"

"Love you too, dad."

I guess I'm spending the day with Brody and Alana, I know him and her are inseparable, wherever Brody, trust that Alana will be there and vice versa. I haven't seen both of them in a long time so this will be good.

"Aargh...". My stomach starts to hurt like hell, it feels like my insides are going to explode. Sometimes I really being a supernatural being.

I let out a painful groan as I wake up and try to adjust my eyes to the dark. The room I'm in is dark and freezing cold. Whoever decided that it was a good idea to abduct me is going to pay. Not to brag or anything like that but being associated with the Morgan's earned a reputation and everyone knew not to mess with me. So whoever this person is must have a death wish to abduct me.

"Silas." I should have known that it was him. The only person who would be brace enough or just plain stupid to abduct me would be Silas. I thought he was dead, when I got to New Orleans, the town was still reeling from the effects that he left. Dorian told me about Silas, how he came to New Orleans and almost wiped out the entire wolf population looking for the Moon Stone, which the wolves were safeguarding.

I'm not the least surprised that he's here, from what I've heard he's very resourceful. Silas will always find a way to piss off people, making a lot of enemies in the process, not that he cares about any of that. As long as he gets what he wants, everyone else be damned.

"I'm glad that you know who I am. So you are Elisabeth Coleman, I must say I've heard about you. So how exactly are you acquainted with the Morgan's.

I don't respond to his question but I have to say I'm curious to find out how he knows about me. "I've heard a lot about you Elisabeth, they say you are the most powerful witch that has ever lived." He laughs, as if that amuses him or offends him in some way. "I doubt that, not when you've been tainted by the filthy vampire blood."

"Silas, I really don't care about what you think about me, just tell me why I am here, what do you want?" From the stories about Silas, I know he didn't bring me for nothing. I am well aware that the only reason, he's brought me is because he wants something from me.

"You know, Aurora, your friend, she's pregnant with twins, those kids have powers that can be very useful to me so I want them and you are gonna get them for me."

He must out of his mind.
