Time To Say Everything

Ji Ah had opened her eyes late in the night to go to the washroom when her phone buzzed. She ignored it and lazily went to the washroom. After coming back, she again saw her phone buzzing and she frustratingly took it and looked at the notifications.

There were a few messages and calls from the person whom she thought that she wouldn't have to face again.

In Joon and Ji Ah spent their first night together in his house. So, Ji Ah cautiously walked towards the balcony. With a furious look on her face, she called Min Hyuk. As if he had been waiting for her to call back, the call was picked in just a second.

She heard his voice, the voice which she used to love before. But now... no more!

"What do you have to say? Why did you call me? Didn't I sign the papers?" Ji Ah couldn't hold out her anger anymore. She just continued asking him questions angrily.

"Um... Well..." Min Hyuk was finding words to say when Ji Ah cut him off "If you don't have anything to say, I will hang up!" She bought the phone down from her ear and was about to cut the call when Min Hyuk stopped her "Wait!"

Ji Ah bought the phone back to her ear and listened "What?"

"I have registered the papers in the Civil Affairs Bureau. We need to go next week for the official signature." Min Hyuk spoke with guilt in his voice.

"Okay! I will come." Ji Ah quickly agreed and this made Min Hyuk even more guilty. It was all his fault. Now that she wasn't there beside him, he began to realize what he did towards her. Shaking his head, he took deep breaths.

Ji Ah heard his deep breaths through the phone. There was a time whenever Min Hyuk had to say something, he used to take deep breaths and try to find out ways to speak.

And now when Ji Ah heard his deep breaths she knew that he had something to say but she didn't wanted to speak to him anymore.

"Alright! If you don't have anything more to say, I will..." This time Ji Ah's words were interjected by Min Hyuk "Do you really want to finish it between us, Ji Ah?"

This simple question bought Ji Ah's anger back. She was trying her best to control her anger but this question ruined it all.

"You are asking me?" Ji Ah asked "Are you actually asking me?" Ji Ah scoffed and continued "Where was your answer when I had asked you this question, Kang Min Hyuk? Where were you even lost when I asked you the same? Hadn't I cried in front of you saying not to do this? Hadn't I tried my best trying to give you everything you need? Hadn't I..."

*BEEP-BEEP*

Ji Ah heard the disconnecting beeps and she clutched her phone tightly in her hand. She slowly sat down on the floor and then came out the tears which she didn't wanted to come out.

"Say, Min Hyuk... Didn't I do everything so that you and I could be together? We were so happy living our married life but... you... you just unexpectedly came with a divorce... And when I asked... you... the reason... you never told me... And now... you ask me... whether I...I wanna finish it all? Weren't you the one who started it?"

Bringing her legs closer to her chest and hiding her face in between, Ji Ah cried loudly.

In Joon who had been observing her ever since she had started conversing with Min Hyuk felt sad for her. He was the one who started it. He was the one who gave Min Hyuk his everything only to get Ji Ah back... He felt that he was silly to have ruined her life like this...

But every moment which he spent with her today had made him extremely joyous. He was really happy to be with her, to hear her laugh, to hear her cry... Yet his heart ached when he was seeing her how badly she was crying.

He didn't know if it was the right decision or not... But he decided to say her everything. Moreover, he couldn't keep this talk within him forever. He walked towards her and kept his hand on her head.

Ji Ah felt someone's hand on her head and she looked up. Seeing that it was In Joon, she immediately hugged him and cried louder.

"I'm sorry... I shouldn't cry while thinking of him but... I just want to let it out all at once." Ji Ah spoke in between her sobs.

In Joon patted her back and comforted her "It's fine! Cry as much as you want by resting your head on my shoulder."

He felt that it wasn't the correct time to say everything right now... so, he kept his mouth shut. He just patted her back lightly until he felt her weight on his body. He realized that she was nearing to sleep. He caught hold of her in princess style and walked into his room.

Placing Ji Ah on the bed, In Joon kissed her on her forehead and murmured "Maybe if you hadn't made that promise with me, Ji Ah... I wouldn't have done something this bad. You would have to cry for one more time, Ji Ah!! And I promise after that I will never let you cry." He laid down beside her and hugged her more tightly than ever.

If she was to leave him, this would be the last hug he would ever have.

Ji Ah woke up early in the morning. She quickly ran to the washroom and cleaned herself. After taking her shower, she came out wearing a towel only to realize that she hadn't bought any clothes with her. She walked to his closet and searched for some clothes that would fit her but they were too huge for her.

So, she just picked a long white shirt and black shorts. After dressing up, she stared at herself in the mirror and My God! Not only the shirt even the shorts were too big for her. The shorts came to her mid-calf while the shirt was down covering her thighs.

"Hmm! I think it is fine. When he wakes up, I will tell him to go back and get me a pair of clothes from my house." She said to herself and adjusted the clothes on her body properly.

Two hours later, In Joon woke up. He saw that the other side of the bed was empty. Fear started to capture his entire body and he hurriedly got out of the bed. Then, he heard some clinking sounds coming from the kitchen. He ran to the kitchen and saw her cooking. He heaved a sigh of relief and observed the clothes which she wore.

Seeing her in his clothes, In Joon hoped that everyday he would get to see her wearing his clothes and cook for him.

Ji Ah who was cooking became startled when two hands caught hold of her waist. She looked down at the hands holding her waist and she smiled. "You are awake?" She asked.

In Joon gave a nod and rested his head on her shoulder. "Wide awake!" He purred and Ji Ah gave a soft chuckle.

"I'm relieved to see you here. For a minute, I thought that you were gone." In Joon said which made Ji Ah turn around and face him in surprise. "Why would I go?" She asked confusedly while arching a brow at him. Then, she remembered that he saw her crying last night so, she asked "Is it about last night?"

"I didn't mean to hear your conversation but you were crying and yelling so, I wanted to know what was hurting you." In Joon stopped talking and stared in her eyes.

Tightening his hold around her waist, he said "Ji Ah, I... have something to say to you. Just completely hear me out and later I will give you the chance to ask me anything, okay? Just... Just hear me out! And then, it's your choice to do whatever you want, okay? I will be okay with whatever you choose." He inched closer and kissed her forehead.

"You will hear me, right?" He asked again and received a flick on his forehead from Ji Ah "Aigoo! What is wrong with you? It feels like you did some big crime and you want to get rid of it!"

"Consider it like that, Ji Ah. But first hear me out!" In Joon intently looked in her eyes with a longing desire.

Ji Ah smiled and held his hands. "You don't have to worry. I will hear you until the last and then I will make a good choice, okay?" She joined her thumb and index finger and made the 'ok' sign.
