"Sorry, It took me some time to come." Ae Ra said as she held the packet of dumplings in her hand. She then looked at the person standing beside Yu Shik.

Yoon Jun Ki smiled and was about to introduce himself, when his friend interjected him "I got so worried for you. You alright?" Yu Shik approached her and looked at her closely. When he saw her nod, he puffed his face like an angry child. "For a while, I thought that you prefer food more than me."

Ae Ra chuckled upon hearing his words and said "C'mon, I can't do such a thing at all! You know how much I love you, right?" She looked at him with puppy eyes.

For a while, Jun Ki felt like he was being thrown to dog-food. "Geez! How long are you going to stick like that to sister-in-law?"

Yu Shik looked at Jun Ki with an annoying face. "Aishh!"

"Sister-in-law?" Ae Ra blushed upon hearing it. But she was confused. She had seen him somewhere, but she couldn't recollect it.

Again when Jun Ki was going to introduce himself, Yu Shik interrupted him and said "This is Yoon Jun Ki, The son of Yoon Du Shik, The..."

"The CEO of KGH Enterprises, right?" Ae Ra asked looking at Jun Ki. She had seen his photo in the file which Seo Young had bought for her to see, the other day.

"Yeah, I am!" Yoon Jun Ki looked at her surprised. He wasn't expecting her to know him.

"What you thought, huh? My fiancé is intelligent." Yu Shik said proudly. He pulled her closer by her shoulder. "After all, she is going to be the wife of Dr. Choi Yu Shik." He smiled looking at her and Ae Ra blushed looking at his gentle smile.

"Ahh! I am done... Invite me on your wedding, sick guy! I will get going now, Sister-in-law." Jun Ki punched his friend and respectfully bowed at Ae Ra.

"Look at you, a punch for me and a bow to her. Ahh! You really are a friend..." Yu Shik looked at him with a puffy face.

Jun Ki bid them both a goodbye and sat in his car. He sat in the front passenger seat and the driver started the car. As the car started to get far from them, he looked at them through the rear view mirror and smiled. "You really are a lucky brat!"

"What took you so long?" Yu Shik asked while driving the car.

'Why did that old man say that way? Why did he think of Yu Shik as someone bad? And moreover, why is Yu Shik friends with Jun Ki? I mean, Jun Ki is the son of my father's enemy and he is friend with Yu Shik? Why? What actually is going on? Why does my heart feels different now...' Ae Ra was long lost in her deep thoughts. Too many whys ran through her mind and she didn't had a single answer for them all.

"Ae Ra? Ae Ra?" Yu Shik shook Ae Ra by her hand.

"Huh?"

"Is everything okay ? You don't seem to be doing well."

"I am fine! It's just nothing." Ae Ra shook her head and decided not to speak to him about such trivial matters. They were only bound to tense him.

"If something is wrong, share them with me." Yu Shik patted her head and focused on driving.

Ae Ra changed into her night clothes and laid on the bed. "Is Yu Shik's friend related to my dad's case? But at that time he might have been the same age as mine. No, I am actually thinking it wrong." She abruptly got up and took her phone. She called on Seo Young's phone for a while, but there came no answer. So, she messaged.

"Hi, Seo Young! How are you?

You were gonna tell me something that day, what was it? When you see this message, reply me quickly. TT"

She pressed the Enter icon and the message got sent. She stared at the phone looking at her message for long. But there was no reply.

"You didn't sleep yet?" Yu Shik came out of the bathroom wiping his hair.

"Huh? No! Not yet." Ae Ra shook her head and continued looking at the phone.

Yu Shik walked over and sat beside her. He stared at her until she turned towards him and asked "What happened?"

"Nothing. You seem to be lost. Ever since, we parted our ways after that food argument, you are lost. Did my words hurt you?" Yu Shik asked turning her towards him completely.

"Ahh, No! Nothing happened. You didn't even say anything bad that would hurt me..."

"Then what's with the long face?" Yu Shik asked with a worried tone. He lifted her face up which was looking down due to his question. Tracing her chin with his index finger, he kissed on her chin. He then looked at her in her eyes as if asking whether she liked it or no.

Ae Ra had no expression on her face, so he leaned in a little bit more and kissed her cheek. Still there was no expression neither on her face nor in her eyes. He again kissed on her other cheek, This time he gave a wet kiss with his saliva on her cheek.

Ae Ra felt the coldness and blinked. She wiped the saliva on her face and wiped that hand on his shirt. With a sigh, she lied down on the bed and murmured "Good night!"

'Why is she so depressed today? Did something happen? Or wait...' Realizing that she might be facing her monthly, he shook her shoulder "ARE YOU ON YOUR PERIODS?" He screamed as he realized that this could be the possibility of her being so moody.

"What?" Now that there was something which needed to be answered, Ae Ra got back to her senses. She got up and sat on the bed with her legs crossed over the other.

"You look so low, so I thought you might have gotten your monthly thing - you know that red flower..." Yu Shik said while avoiding contact with her.
