"Auntie Qin, I need your help with something."
Auntie Qin wiped her hands on the towel and asked, "What is it, Chenjun?"
"Can you teach me how to make brown sugar ginger tea?" Chenjun remembered how three years ago, he had mistaken Elena's sickness as her period and ordered brown sugar ginger tea for her.
"Why brown sugar ginger tea?" Auntie Qin asked.
"Elena is on her. . . her period." Lu Chenjun gulped uncomfortably as he talked. Auntie Qin smiled and opened the cabinet to grab the bag of brown sugar. Kids these days. . . they were pretty good at dating. Very considerate!
"Come here, Chenjun. You should make it, but I will help you." Auntie Qin grabbed ginger and placed a knife on it. Lu Chenjun rolled up his pajama sleeves and walked over to the cutting board.

Elena had one hand over her stomach as she felt like her lower body was a volcano erupting. This was always the worst time of the month.
