We stopped on the way home to get some food. It was quiet between me and Mia, I didn't like the silence. I wanted to start a conversation or something, but I didn't because I was scared, I don't know why, I just was.

We arrived back home a while before the movie. We waited for some of her mom's friends to arrive to go with us to the movie. Mia grabbed my arm and pulled me to my room, she shut her door a little bit. She puts her hands on my face and pulls me in to kiss me, she pulls away. "I'm sorry about earlier, I'm sorry if I hurt you in any way," She pouts a bit, I lean in and kiss her back, "It's okay," I say as I pull back. Mia's mom calls us to go back into the other room, her friends arrived.

After a bit of small talk, we get in the car to head to the theaters. I and Mia had to sit in the very back because of how many people were in the car. I reached for Mia's hand and decided to hole it, her mom couldn't see us since we were blocked by people, Mia still took a sweater and covered our hands, she tried to take every precaution to make sure we wouldn't be caught. After a while, we finally arrived at the theater. We got to our seats and the movie started. In the middle of the movie Mia takes my hand and moves it between our seats and holds it for the rest of the movie. I felt butterflies in my stomach and I smiled. When I thought this day would get worse, I was wrong, today was getting better.
