Chpt #27 - Will they get back together?

"So the day finally come my dear boss. Are you going to opt out again?" Desmond reminded Ryan.

Ryan never likes to socialise and going to events as he feels that business events are boring.

"Let me remind you that you have to go this time. If you miss this out, you won't be able to keep this position for long." Desmond laughed sarcastically.

Ryan's dad promise him that as long as he take his work seriously, attend all events arrange, he is able to keep SOHO hotel and his position.

"Fine! I'll go" Ryan got annoyed and went back hime to pack his clothes. The event will need him to stay in Sanya for 3 days 2 nights and they still did not know that Nancy is there.

Upon arrival to Sanya…

"Wahhh! Sanya air definitelyyy smells different. Boss can you smell that fresh air and sound of the wave! Its soooo relaxing" Desmond was so happy that he can kind of relax.

"Shut up and let's get going" Ryan pulls Desmond arm and heads in to the front desk to check in.

"Omg! Omg! Is that Ryan from SOHO hotel! Aaahhh he is so cute and handsome!" The front desk starts gossiping.

"Hey, didn't know you are this famous" Desmond whispered to Ryan.

Ryan shakes his head and handed both their ID to the front desk.

While the front desk keys in the details, Ryan looks around the hotel lobby to get used to the vibe.

He suddenly saw a silhouette that looks like Nancy. He pushes Desmond and ran off to find her.

Desmond chased Ryan and panted, "What's wrong with you!"

"I think i saw Nancy just now" Ryan breathe heavily.

"Nancy?? My dear boss! I think you are seeing things. How can she be here?" Desmond assured Ryan.

Ryan believed that he did saw Nancy. But after hearing what Desmond has told him, he told himself that maybe he was indeed delusional.

They then proceeded to check in to their respective rooms, Ryan in 1004 and Desmond in 1005.

Ryan has been sending Nancy message every single day just to seek for forgiveness and it has never been his intention to play with her feelings. Nancy who is insecure and not knowing what is the truth, ignores all his text.

Ryan was restless that night so he decided to take a walk at the resort and get a drink at the pub. While drinking, he was scrolling through the photos he took with Nancy at the amusement park and smiled to himself.

Coincidentally, Nancy was at the pub too. She was with Sally and YuXi (Sally's bestfriend who came to stay in the resort for a holiday). Yuxi is a pretty girl and likes to hit up on handsome guys and dates around. But she is definitely a nice girl.

"Hey guys, see that guy there. I am so going to get his number. Wait and see." Yuxi whispered to Sally and Nancy.

Both of them laughed and turns their back to see which guy Yuxi was referring to.

Yuxi slowly approaches Ryan, "Hey handsome, mind if i seat here to accompany you?"

Nancy smile suddenly disappeared as she saw Ryan.

"Sally sorry. I don't feel quite well. Might be the alcohol. I'll go back to my room to get some rest first." Nancy quickly took her bag and ran off.
