Chpt #26 - Special Partnership

After the official event ended, Sally thanked Nancy for being the resort life saviour. After the event, they became close and eventually became close friends.

Sally even persuaded her to stay and work in Sanya Resort but Nancy rejected.

"Why not like this, i will ask our CEO, Mr Tian to sign you a exclusive contract? So you can be our advisor instead?" Even before Nancy could agree she quickly calls Mr Tian to discuss.

After Mr Tian agrees for an interview, Sally quickly drags Nancy to his office.

*Knock* *Knock*

"Mr Tian, this is Nancy the one that help us the other day" Sally introduced Nancy.

"Wait, Nancy from SOHO hotel? I know you! We have met once when i went to SOHO hotel for site visit. Didn't know i get to meet you here!" Mr Tian came over to shake her hand.

Mr Tian is a young, good looking, outgoing, you can say playboy kind of ceo. He becames a ceo just because his dad own Sanya Resort. But nevertheless, his work has always been good.

Nancy was happy to see someone she met before and they chatted for quite sometime. Nancy eventually agrees to be Sanya Resort advisor for events. Ever since in SOHO, Nancy has been very meticulous and detailed oriented person when it comes to work thus Mr Tian lets her sign the exclusive contract, since she's no longer working with SOHO.

Once they signed, Nancy and Mr Tian shakes hands and Nancy said "Do guide me along" and both of then smile.

The privilege she gets is to continue staying in Sanya resort and be their advisor.

"Finally, i have something to do and distract myself from him" Nancy thought.

The next day, Nancy dress up formally and is ready for work. She went to the office and Sally happily greets her "Welcome to Sanya Resort, our advisor" while locking arms with her.

The team claps to welcome her and Sally showed her around. Though as an advisor she won't be at the office most of the time, Nancy just wants to know about the environment.

After walking one round, Nancy decides to head over to Mr Tian office to officially greets him as a boss. While walking past their pantry, Nancy overheard the staff gossips.

"Eh, you see that new girl today? She must be Mr Tian's new mistress or girlfriend"

"I heard she is staying in one of our room for free"

"She seduce Mr Tian just to get this job, shameless girl"

"Mr Tian is player, he definitely hires her just for her body"

At this point, she was on the verge of crying and running away. She hates gossips as she is quite coward. She doesn't like to stand up for herself and doesn't like to have any arguments.

"ARE YOU DONE TALKING? DID I HIRE YOU TO GOSSIP?" Mr Tian saw Nancy standing outside the pantry and overheard those conversations too.

Mr Tian pulls Nancy to his office and everyone went back to their seats.

Nancy took a deep breath to calm down and greeted Mr Tian, "Good morning Mr Tian, I'm here to report to work" Nancy smiles.

Mr Tian stares at her for few second and apologize "I'm sorry that you have to experience this the first day you report to work."

"No no no don't be sorry. I guess its normal, they must have likes you since you are so good looking" Nancy laughed.

"You think I'm good looking too? Then do you want to consider to be my official girlfriend then?" Mr Tian smiles and look at her.

"Why are you so nervous! I'm just kidding!" Mr Tian laughed to avoid any awkwardness.

"Anyways next week there will be a conference speech for the top hotels in China here. We will be hosting it and SOHO might be in it too. Hope you don't mind?" Mr Tian arrange a task for Nancy.

"Don't worry, i will only oversee the event so i doubt it will be that coincidence to bump into any of them" Nancy agree and awkwardly laughed to look for Sally to discuss on the arrangements.
