New Team Member

"Hey? Yvette!" Kerry was the first to notice me, and the male members of the exploration team stirred.

"It's Yvette!"

"Why is Yvette here?"

"Captain, your wife came to see you," someone teased Emery mischievously, winking at him.

Emery only called out half of the names, and there were seven guys standing in front of him, including Emery, making a total of eight. The number of ability users here was twice that of the DR team, but compared to the population of Noah City, it was clear that ability users were quite scarce.

"Who is it?"

Apparently, everyone was more relaxed during regular training, not too serious.

"It can't be Yvette!" one guy exclaimed. I counted – Emery called names from left to right, starting with Kerry. Following the order, it was Shia, Williams, Gabriel, Bill, Moxi, and Joey. They ranged from tall to short, with Kerry being the tallest, looking almost 6 feet tall, and the last one, Joey, the shortest, but not shorter than 5 feet 7 inches.Lindsay had an eye for Kerry, who looked robust in the uniform that tightly wrapped around his body, highlighting his well-defined chest muscles.

The one who exclaimed was the fourth member, Gabriel.

Instinctively, I looked at Gabriel. He looked like an Asian, leaning more towards the Korean side. When he noticed me looking at him, he tensed up, and suddenly, he disappeared!

Huh?! Gabriel vanished completely, clothes and all. The space where he stood was now empty, as if he had instantly disappeared.

"Hahaha, Gabriel got excited again." The guy on his right, Williams, a blond Westerner, with a unique sleeveless combat vest, high neck, and no shoulder straps, laughed while raising his hand to the spot where Gabriel was standing. He caught him! This indicated that Gabriel was still there. Gabriel's ability was invisibility!

"Stop fooling around!" Emery suddenly shouted, and immediately, all seven guys turned to him. The last one, Joey, raised an eyebrow, "What's wrong with the captain today? Why is he so angry?"

"Probably going through a breakup..."

"Quiet!" Uncle Dominic yelled, and instantly, the seven guys stood straight, not daring to speak further. But their gazes still sneakily looked at Emery, amused.

Gabriel slowly reappeared between Williams and Bill. Bill smiled at him, and Gabriel glared at Bill, his face slightly blushing.

Uncle Dominic looked at everyone. "Today, our exploration team will welcome a very formidable new member. Yes, she is our lovely Yvette!" Uncle Dominic gently pushed me to the front, and immediately, the guys' eyes showed surprise and excitement.

"We finally have a female team member! Oh!" They cheered, hugged each other, and shed tears.

"Phew..." Emery couldn't stand it and rubbed his forehead. Immediately, he shouted, "Enough! You guys are too dramatic!"

The guys let go of their embraces, standing up with cheerful smiles. It was evident that the team had a strong bond, like a big family.

"Boss, what's Yvette's ability?" Bill asked curiously.

"That's right, that's right. If the boss says it's very formidable, then it must be extremely powerful!" Kerry gave a thumbs up."Stop flattering, you're already Lindsay's man~~~" Shia teased, and immediately, everyone burst into laughter, "Hahaha—"

Kerry blushed instantly, coughing repeatedly.
