CHAPTER TWO (KATIE JOEL)

She opens up the door and saw her mom.  Her mom had the facial expression of an annoyed person.

What could be wrong?

She asked herself and then asked her mom.

What's wrong with your mother?

I just hope whatever I have heard is certainly incorrect and untrue because to me it sounds nonsensical.

Mrs. Rachel said to her daughter.

She had a British accent even though she was born in the US, southern California to be precise, her neighborhood was Hollywood in Los Angeles city.



Her parents who got divorced after she turned twelve years of age left her a fortune there after they both died the same day which was tragic but kind of weird coincidence because they weren't traveling together but they both died at the same time.

The blonde goddess, straight pointing noise, and light blue eyes were the dream girl for every rich and affluent bachelor in those days.



But she managed to choose herself one out of the many, a very charming doctor with many degrees in his possession.



Not only degrees, a mansion he built on his own after leaving his parents in Britain to have a new start in his career on his own.



Even though he didn't want anyone's help, his parents' influence still helped him quite a lot.

They got married and Mrs. Collins now Mrs. Lardon left Los Angeles City, sold some of her properties, and moved with her man to Wales of Great Britain, the City Center neighborhood of Cardiff to be precise.

What could be so nonsensical and ridiculous to you, Mother?

Arielle asked.

I heard that your best friend Katie Joel has been in charge of the company for a long while now and I hope I am wrong.

No Mother, you are not.

What! Her mom exclaimed.

I had Katie run the company on my behalf.

Why on Earth would you do that? What have you been doing while she ran it?

Mother, I do not understand your reaction to this. There is no problem with my best friend handling my company on my behalf.

But it is absurd.

Mrs. Rachel had a feeling of disapprobation and was vexed to see her daughter so calm about it.

Why don't I try explaining calmly, maybe then you will understand me better.

Mrs Rachel and her daughter sat down on the soft cushion and Arielle explained herself.

You are aware of the fact that I am struggling to find a man. Even when I went on online dating sites and met several unpleasantness, it still wasn't easy for me.

Then Katie suggested something. She asked me to drop all the rich girl lifestyle and live like a normal person. I should stop being the boss of a big company and become a normal worker and I found her idea quite impressive, so I agreed.

Even though I haven't seen any results as of yet, I still wish to wait and hope that it will work.

Mrs. Rachel was quiet and lost deep in her thoughts.
