Love, Betrayal, Blood, but not Hatred. Only cold revenge, and a son to complete the family. "D" Section, a nonexistent military unit. "D" for dark, "D" for depth, "D"... for death. It demanded no attachment, and Daemon sacrificed love for it. Years later, the death of his teammates made him feel that he had done enough for the country, so he came back to the city he grew in. But can what has been forsaken be gained back? Because now Evelyn, the one to have breathed vitality in his numb, orphaned heart, had her own life, and a little boy calling her mother. The SUV stopped among a throng of other cars. There, men in shorts and flip-flops were not rare, with most wearing beach shirts, while some were simply bare chested. A few had sports attires on, but just a few, as it was September, and the season was not that good to play with the sea, at least not with how the peculiar climate made it. Unless one was looking for more than just leisure relaxation.
As for the women walking around, they had much of their skin exposed, the difference only being how much of it. After all, they could not come to the beach in armor, much less in complicated dresses, could they? That turned into a feast for the eyes, though the women themselves were also busy checking out the men with good figures.
