Chapter 3 :An expert
"You…you are him?" She stammered
"I have given you my card ,since you so believe that this is a trival matter"
"Contact me when you are ready ,to fix this"
He left as soon as he was done talking.
Not waiting for her to reply.
"No it can't be him"
"I am reborn and ..and "
She though to herself.
"Why should I be afraid , he is not even born yet"
"I can just pretend "
"No why should I pretend, I don't even know him"
"Yes I don't even know him"
She said as she stared at the leaving car and sighed.
In the car , Kemuel wondered why he sense some familiarity from the out spoken young lady.
He was wondering if he had ever met her before ,but as tried as he could,
He couldn't remember.
"Tabby, I want information about her"
As smart as Tabby was, he could guess right away who his boss was talking about.
But he was a surprised because his boss ,had never taken interest in anything.
This was a first, but he was in no position , to ask him that .
He was just praying a silent prayer for that lady.
Anika was walking to a café when she saw some group of girls talking in loud voices behind her.
"Pearl, you should have invited us after coming back from France " said one of the girls
"I got back tired, so my dad wanted me to rest at home for a while"
"Wow ,you have such a caring father "
One of the girls said enviously
"He wouldn't even care if you don't come home in 3 days"
Anika rolled her eyes and wondered, why some girls are very stupid
She entered the café and took her order.
Her favourite coffee , black with no sugar or milk.
While taking her coffee and thinking her next move , she realised those girls also came to the same café .
That's when she realised, one of them was the best friend of her younger sister.
And it was the Pearl ,they were talking about.
She thought , she have had enough drama , with that mysterious man who was giving her that funny feeling.
"There I go again ,thinking about him"
She wanted to have her coffee in peace.
But as luck will have it ,Pearl saw her
She walked over to her side angrily .
"What are you doing here" she demanded like a proud princess who own the world.
"Do you own this place?" Anika resorted back
" I do no but, You've been going round, following Amira like ,she owns you"
"So I have to ask you"
"Are you following me too"
"Keep this in mind"
"I would never be friends with you "
"Pearl who is this " one of her girlfriends asked
"You mean, you don't know her"
"This is Anika ,Amira's ugly sister"
"Oo, she is Anika , the ugly one"
Anika realised this body was very very pitiful.
"What have you been trying to do with this body and hen you were alive" she wondered
Anika finished her coffee stood up and said
"I don't know who you are or where you came from with this stinky attitude of yours"
"If you think I would just sit here, for you to rain unnecessarily word on me"
"Then you must be mistaken "
"I don't follow beetles whose only job is to carry other people's shit"
"I don't mingle with shitty persons"
"Who..who are you calling shit"
" Do I see any other peers in who looks like shit around"
"I do not want to see your parasitic face "
"The next time you see me ,try and avoid me the next time you see me"
Anika took her bag and left ,after saying that.
Pearl was short of word.
She had never heard Anika speaks so many word .
Not to talk of a word from her..
She realised ,Anika was different now.
She carried herself with so much poised ,something Amira can't do.
"She is very shameless " said one of her girlfriends
"How can a lady speak such unruly words"
Pearl looked at her so called friend who said both when Amira was around.
But now that she is out of sight ,they speak up like ,they are telling her to her face.
Pearl know these kind of people, who only want benefit.
But doesn't wanna suffer.
She sneered inward ,but pretend to look hurt and surprised.
"I was just trying to tell her to not disgrace herself in public"
"She took my goodwill as a bad thing "
"Haaa" she sighed
This quickly won sympathy from her friends.
Pearl is indeed the friend of Amira, they pretend to be hurt to gain sympathy from other people.
But while Pearl pretend to be a straight forward righteous person ,
Amira pretty be a white lotus, who pretends to be naïve of what other people do to her.
"Well I don't care ,"
"I was trying to look out for her because ,she is Amira's elder sister"
"But that won't be necessary anymore"
"Let's go for our coffee "
"Pearl is right"
"Let's forget about that ungrateful girl"
The girls quickly forgot about what happened and focused on why they came there in the first place.
Anika left the café in a carefree mood ,like she was not the one who acted shameless at the café.
Walking and thinking of her next move she realised some people were following her.
As an experienced killer, she knew at a glance that some people were following her.
She changed direction and started walking through a dark alley.
She quickened her steps like a naïve girl who is afraid.
The pursuers realised , she knows they were following her .
They decided not to hide any more.
Anika started running like she was so scared.
She got to a point where there was no other way to run to.
She stopped and turned looking at her pursuers with fear in her eyes.
"Never knew a naïve girl like you, would notice us so early " said the leader of the group
"Please ..please what do you want "
She said with fear and a trembling voice
"I didn't do anything "
"Well it looks like you have offended one you shouldn't have"
"I haven't offended anyone "
"Please who sent you ,I have not offended anyone"
"Well I can't tell who sent me "
"Please I have been paid to have fun and make a video of you"
Anima thought ,who would do this . Is it Pearl or her good loving sister.
Only they, can make such move.
"You don't look bad, if not for the scare on your forehead "
"You would have been a great beauty"
"But I am going to enjoy you anyway "
"Boss , guess we will have our turn when you are done " one of them said with lust in his eyes
Anika sneered inward
"Just a bunch of hooligans , and they want to have fun"
"Ok, if that's what you want I will definitely give you all the fun you need"
Anika stood up ,and the fear and trembling vanished.
She smirked at the hooligans
"Did your parents ever tell you"
"Not to provoke just anyone "
The hooligans were surprised ,because they were not seeing the girl who was scared anymore
"Who are you to tell us who to provoke and who not to provoke "
"You should be begging at this moment, but you are acting all mighty and bossy"
"O I should be scared?"
"You are now scared, my boss will definitely deal with you"
"But if you kneel and beg ,maybe we will have mercy on you and let you go "
"After a round with you"
"I think you need to beg me "
"You wouldn't wanna be in deep shit right?"
"Then beg me"
"Maybe I will let you go after breaking a leg"
"Such impudent" roared one of the hooligans
He flunked his fist at her ,Anika held his hands like holding a chicken and broke it
"Ahhhhhhhhhh" he squealed
"So weak"
"You will pay for this"
They attacked her ,wanting to get a hold of her .
She kicked one on the face and broke his nose another was coming behind her with an object ,
She held it with ease , twisting his hand and broke it threw him over his shoulders and stepped on his legs by stepping on his leg.
Another was about giving her a sneaky attack from behind, she raised her leg and directed it at his ribs a "clang" sound was make .
The leader of the hooligans was surprised ,they though they have gotten one who is weak but instead
It rather someone who is a pro in martial arts.
Yes ,what he had just witnessed was no street fight but rather a martial art expert.
