Chapter 697: Signing the Contract

The online meeting lasted quite a while, and by the time Henry Russell finished, Charlotte Cooper had fallen asleep on the sofa from exhaustion.

Looking at Charlotte's sweet sleeping face, Henry couldn't resist planting a kiss on her forehead.

Because Charlotte was a light sleeper, she woke up as soon as Henry's kiss landed.

Opening her eyes to see the man she'd been longing for, Charlotte's anxious heart instantly settled down.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." Henry gently stroked Charlotte's head, speaking softly.

Seeing Henry say this, Charlotte shook her head, "Did I sleep for a long time? You just finished your meeting, right?"

Having said that, Charlotte sat up and saw the moon hanging high in the sky through the window and knew it was quite late.

"Yes, I just finished the meeting." The situation at the company was somewhat tricky, so Henry gently massaged his temples.

Initially, Henry intended to rest, but thought of the fact that Charlotte had not had dinner yet.
