Chapter 12

Pairs of legs could seen running quickly down the stairs. Ann was running for her life and the look on her face was that of terror and fear.





Earlier:

After Josh went away pecking her goodbye and taking her phone number, she was in a daze. She had never felt so intoxicated with affection and some foreign woozy feeling she couldn't shake off.

She decided pay him a visit to discuss some issues and what was more surprising was that she liked all his moves and advances, as she unconsciously caressed her pecked cheeks.



"You were enjoying his dirty lips on your cheeks huh", Calli asked breaking into Ann's chain of thoughts.



Calli's blackened face scared her to the core for a while, she had almost forgotten that he managed to find her.



"Huh..... Me... No", Ann replied, stuttering a bit at his intrusive words.



"Ann you really are daring and tempting me but you shall do that no more!!", he said, punching the walls behind him before slowly approaching her.



"What.....what..... What do you mean?", Ann asked taking subtle steps back. There was no place of escape. She could only stare into his dark irises and body movements to determine what his next move would be.



"Seems like you need to be taught some lessons on charity", He threatened with each approaching step.



Ann quickly ran into the bar seeking refuge but Calli caught up with her, pressing her to the wall whilst devouring her lips greedily. Ann was perplexed, pushed him away and slapped him, " Excuse me Mr jerk face, your date is looking for you", She quickly said, spitting and wiping her lips much to his disdain but she cared less. The Blondie by the name *Tiana* approached them.

As Ann turned to leave , he pushed her backwards towards the hard wall in anger and that greatly affected her back as she whined in pain. She had a fresh wound in her back when she battled "Carl" Who managed to escape.

Her main reason for eloping was for her to find him and take him down and according to the information she had received, he was supposed to be at the banquet.



Blood seeped through her wound and drenched the dress and she slowly crouched to the floor. Calli was confused as to how she got seriously wounded but managed to conceal it. He knew her too well, if he gave her a chance now, she would escape and there was no way he was allowing that. He couldn't quite place his finger on it but his instinct told him that there was more to Ann's delicate appearance that meets the eyes.



"Arrgh....", Ann groaned in pain.



Guilt washed over Calli and he decided to stop overthinking and help her to her feet but immediately she stood, she could see Veda clearly over the counter signalling her that their *prey* was about leaving, Ann quickly kicked him on his groin causing him to fall, crouching in pain while she took to her heels.

The hotel was so big and on her way downstairs, she colluded into Veda and Emily who were also on an Escapes from their various obsessive partners. They decided to split up and use different steps and were to meet at the garage to drive off and chase after Carl then to the underground basement referred to as "THE ROOM OF SKELETONS", because of the numerous secretive activities carried out there; painful, torturous and traumatizing activities.



As Ann ran down the steps at the right hastily and made for the door, Calli and his men were already blocking the area.



"Give in Ann, I'll never let you leave here. You are coming with me, either you consent to it or I use force on you", Calli threatened, standing lazily by the door post and smoking.



Ann giggled.



"And besides you are too weak and stand no chance against my men here", Call teased brutally throwing his back in laughter. The men also laughed along, all looking evil and dressed in black.



"What if I defeat all these muscular knuckle heads, which are 1, 2, 3....15, would you let me go?", She asked, maintaining a clear distance.



Calli laughed hard, as much as he knew her, she hated excercising, barely eat healthy food and was lazy, he loved her like that though so that she can depend on him but Ann's stubborn demeanor was putting him off and all he wanted to do was grab her and throw her at the back of his car and lock her in his house were she would never think of leaving him anymore.



"Don't be stubborn Ann, you know how fragile you are and I don't want to hurt you ", Calli said in a soft voice.



"Are you afraid or are you not man enough?, You impotent goat!!", Ann insulted, scoffing.



"Hey watch it young....", and Ann punched the haggard bearded man belly and twisted her fist into his stomach, dislocating his ribs and he fell flat.



Everyone was thrown into confusion as to what just transpired, even Calli stopped smoking in shock.



"Oh..... my.... Gosh", Calli said in awe.



Two more men rushed towards her, she caught one by the arm and twisted it backwards till it made a cracking sound while kicking the other on the face, her heels dug deep into one of his eyes and she smashed his bald head into the floor. After breaking the others arm, she grabbed his neck and smashed it into the window which cracked from the impact. The man fell limp.



Ann expression was deadly as she smiled, "It has been a long time since I killed someone ", she said.



All of Calli's other men ran away leaving Ann face to face with Calli. She tore the lower part of her dress and tied it like a ribbon around her wavy curls. She swiftly tore open her heels and threw it at two men's skulls who were trying to escape and they fell, groaning in pain.

Five others ran towards her and she hit two heads together, kicked one's groin and while he crouched on the floor, she also used her arm to hit his groin again making him faint.

She ran towards a gangster lady and while getting a grasp around her neck, dragged her head which was shaved to a mollock and slammed it to the floor.

Another dyed haired fellow tried to hit her with a flower vase but she dodged and punched him hard and when he tries to raise his head, she would use her feet to stomp his head to the floor and the main would shout in pain.

Digging her nails into the running ladies eyes who wriggled like an earthworm dissolved in a salty solution, she felt fulfilled.



"Stopppppppppp...".
