"She'll be fine." Kevin said as he stepped from behind Lily. "The doctor has inspected the injuries and prescribed medicine. I assure you Lily will be better in no time and that there is nothing to worry about."

Kevin's voice was confident and stern, nothing like the way he spoke to Lily. His tall figure towered over the others and Lily looked so small in his presence.

Elle looked at him in shock and disbelief while Caiden glared seeing Kevin standing besides Lily.

"Mr. Brown? What are you doing here?" Elle spoke after staring at Kevin for a good 10 seconds.

Caiden gritted his teeth before spitting out his thoughts, glaring at Kevin yet speaking to Lily. "Lily, what is this guy doing here?! Why the hell is he in your apartment?!"

"Caiden relax, he just-----" Lily tried to explain but Caiden just cut her off.
