"My deerie! I knew I'd find you here." Getting down from the counter, I saw a woman who looked like she was in her early fifties. I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.
"Grandma? What are you doing here?"
'Did he just say grandma?' I immediately scurried out of sight while adjusting my clothes.
"Well, I was planning on going to your house, but then…my intuition told me to come here instead, and look….I found you!" I saw the woman grab Shawn's cheeks, pulling them playfully.
'Who would have thought, Shawn's a grandma's boy.' Deciding to quit my hiding, I stepped out of the kitchen to make my presence known.
"You could have saved yourself the trouble grandma. Come here and sit." I approached the living room, my steps quiet on the marble floor.
"Thank you…oh….you have company."
"Hi ma'am."I gave a small smile. The elderly woman sized me from top to bottom, an expressionless look on her face.
