To You Whom I Haven't Seen for Years

After dinner, Jayden took me for a walk on the campus.

On the tree-lined street, the sunlight filtered through the gaps between the leaves and cast shadows of different patterns on the road.

In those shadows, I had the illusion of being a long-term campus couple with the person next to me.

I shook my head to shake off the delusion.

Jayden asked, "Have you ever heard of a popular saying spreading in Los Angeles' universities after you studied here for so many years?"

"What is it?"

Jayden said slowly, "Have fun at Ferrell University, live at Stewart University, eat at Travis University, and love at Atkins Normal University."

I burst into laughter and said, "It was an old saying. Besides, it's hard to have a romantic love story at the campus on the outskirts anyway."

Jayden was amused by my words. His clear and gorgeous facial features gave me beautiful and dazzling warmth in the soft sunlight.
