After she left, he handed his business card to Lin Rouxue.

He smiled and said,

"What do you think about working for me. I'm a fashion designer in need of a model, and it seems to me that you have the credentials and looking for. As for the pay, we'll discuss that when you are ready."

Lin Rouxue didn't know whether to cry or laugh, she smiled and replied.

" You're too polite Mr. Brian. I'll consider your offer"

Brian just smiled and got to work immediately.

Soon Ma Xuiying came in with her dress on and allowed someone else to do her make-up.

"Tsk tsk tsk tsk. Miss Ma, your friend's skin is so flawless. I don't even need to use foundation, only simple makeup and her face is already glowing."

Brian styled her usually straight and long hair. He styled it in a low bun, used small hair clips to design the tiny braids, and finally, used a big hair broche to cover the bun.

Lin Rouxue looked stunning. . .

Ma Xuiying couldn't stop praising her.

"Wow, Rouxue you look like a man killer. I'm already tripping. If I wasn't a woman like you, I would have knelt to propose to you" she winked after that flirty comment.

Lin Rouxue was stunned. Turning towards the mirror, she looked at her reflection in the mirror. With a gasp, she covered her mouth. She knew she was always beautiful, but seeing what she looked like now, she felt her eyes turn red.

"Xuiying, thank you"

Ma Xuiying rolled her eyes at her.

" Thank you later. I'm all set, Brian bring the jewelry I ordered last time"

Brian went to his office and retrieved the black case and opened it.

Lin Rouxue gasped.

"This! Xuiying this is expensive. I don't think I can accept this."

Ma Xuiying pinched her arm, she scolded her in a low voice,

" Are you crazy?. . Okay take this as an early birthday gift."

Lin Rouxue was stunned. Early birthday gift? She thought,

"But my birthday isn't till September."

"Yeah. That's my point"

Lin Rouxue agreed, She let them put it on for her.

Brian walked out and brought a pair of shoes. When Ma Xuiying saw the pair of shoes, she gasped and smiled.

She spoke with a coquettish voice,

" Brian, have you finally agreed to let me have the shoes."

Brian rolled his eyes. He smacked her hand and put it on the floor, facing Lin Rouxue.

"Try them on," he said.

Lin Rouxue tried on the shoes. It fit perfectly.

Brian smiled in glee, he knew she was the Cinderella whose feet would fit the shoes perfectly.

" That's your shoes for tonight Cinderella."

Lin Rouxue didn't find anything wrong with the shoes. Picking up her purse, she held Ma Xuiying's hand and left the store.

Ma Xuiying had already informed her father about the banquet, so he sent his driver with a black rolls Royce to pick them up.

20 mins later, they got to the hotel where the anniversary banquet was held.

Gao Yi arrived at the banquet 15 minutes ago. He was disgusted because of the perfume smell that was all jumbled up in the hall.

Even though there was an air conditioner, it was still really stuffy. As he was planning to leave, he caught sight of Han Ping and Lin weiying.

When he saw what Lin Weiying wore, he even felt more disgusted.

Lin Weiying wore a thin strap black gown, the gown was made of high-quality sequence, it had its back open, which revealed her pearly white skin. Her hair was in an up-do and her fringe was parted, which revealed her forehead.

Han Ping wore a black tuxedo and black leather shoes.

Together, they looked like the perfect couple.

But, to Gao Yi, they looked like a wicked couple.

He sneered and walked out of the hall to have a smoke.

Gao Yi stood on an open balcony to have a smoke.

He searched his pocket forthe packet and took one out. He lit it up and sucked in a full breath before reasling

On the Balcony, he made a call to his assistant. The call connected immediately.

Soon the cheerful voice of his assistant came through

" Sir.

The contract has been approved by the state government. Also, Mr. Liang has agreed to invest in it too.

Mr. Gao, he said, you would have to be in city A by Sunday to discuss the full details with him so that he can contact the architect."

Gao Yi and a small smile hanging on his lips. This contract with get him to the top 20 real estate companies list for the year.

It seem like he had luck by his side.

"That's great. Prepare the documents I'll be taking with me. Also, I'll be needing a secretary, put out the vacancy online."

"Yes Director Gao"

Gao Yi hummed and hung up.

A few minutes later, Lu Bingwen came out of the hall and came to stand close to him.

He also brought out a cigarette to smoke.

There was silence for a few minutes before Lu Bingwen broke it.

"You seem depressed. Also, why did you come outside?

Are you not enjoying the party?"

Gao Yi glanced at him. He replied grudgingly

"She didn't come. Why?"

"How should I know that "

Gao Yi sneered.

"How should you know? If I don't see her in 5 mins I'll be leaving. I don't want to stay and smell all sorts of disgusting perfume."

After Saying that, he walked back into the hall.
