Chapter 28- He Still Cared
"She's alright, no brain damage, no system failure, no cause for alarm." The doctor announced to all of them.
"Are you sure doctor?" Ray stepped forward and questioned the doctor, he vividly recalled how she reacted back at the police station...she was restless.
"She's normal, I checked every part of her thoroughly." The doctor explained. Lincoln held Ray by the shoulder.
It was just the three of them, Ray, Lincoln and Salome who came. Lincoln's lawyer was handling Treasure's case so they had nothing to worry about.
"Can we go see her?" Salome carefully asked and the doctor nodded. She immediately found her way over to the room where her daughter was being kept along with Ray.
Lincoln wanted to trail behind but his phone rang and he quickly brought it out...when he saw the dialer his brain went numb.
He left it to ring for a long while before picking it, he wanted to be sure the person didn't make a mistake. When he picked he waited for the caller to speak first.
