Chapter III

Atlas:

I woke up when in the middle of the night when I heard Mnemosyne whimpers, he was crying all night telling me that Atlanteans with Dark violet markings are destroying the earth. Atlanteans with violet markings are the symbol of Gades, One of the cities of Atlantis, and the Ruler of Gades is my twin brother Gadeiros.

"Are you okay now?" I asked him calmly as I looked into his eyes, oh my Gaia... Gaia never loved me, she has loved humanity and mortality more than I could ever give her. I never realized that it is more than that what she loves, for she had Mnemosyne, a son to a human on earth. Mnemosyne Sniffles "I don't understand what's happening, I'm scared and I don't know if I can hold all of this anymore."

I sat beside him. "Take some rest Mnemosyne, I'm sorry if you're having a hard time, but this is here now, we can't ignore this now, we don't have anything--" before I finish what I'm saying I was interrupted by him. "Can you tell me about my mom?"

I smiled at him, Gaia..."Well, She loves the earth and humanity so much, she is the Earth, after all, Gaia is the sun rises, Gaia is the storm, When is angry, she can be the hurricane but when it is fair as blue as the eyes of the ocean, she is as happy as she can be. I don't know what she saw with humanity for the humans are horrible human beings as they are horrible with her, using her, and never try to fix her. Gaia sees the best in everyone's worsts." I can see Mnemosyne looked at me as he listens, I can see the desperate calls for a mother in his eyes. "Gaia would make anyone love her for who she is, and she's persistent with that, even though no one understands how much she loves the earth and every being on it."

"You love her don't you." Mnemosyne sats, I looked at him with no words. "you only say what's best in her..."

"She never loved me, you know. cause here you are the sole reason why she didn't love me back, for she has loved humanity so much that she loved a human being and here you are, a kin, a son of the goddess of earth and a human." I said sadly, he suddenly touched my hand that is pressed in his bed, my heart thump, I looked at him with his sweet little face, and ask "Why did she abandon me?" while a tear is falling his face. "Does she loves me?" he asked as he curled up his knees into his chest and cry.

I didn't know what I did but I touched his face and wiped his tears, such a young boy not feeling anything but abandoned and alone and now realizing that Gaia might leave him for some reason, that I don't know, even when I tell him that Gaia might have some mission on earth or anything that he must be so happy that her mother is the goddess of earth, I would only know that he only wants someone to hold him like a mother, like a person that would care for him, for he endured all of this alone. how lonely would it be, be alone in this world? "I'm sorry, Mnemosyne. I don't know."

He sniffles "Well, for starters, I think she's wrong for loving the humans because they are killing her. second, I wanna know who I am and what it's like to have a mother, not for this prophecy that needs to come out there and save everyone. I don't want to be hunted by many, and asking me this place where I've never been or see." Mnemosyne must have suffered a lot.

"well, why are you punished? you have said that when we got here." Mnemosyne asked.

"I did some c-crime... I have to hold the earth in my shoulders." I gulped "let's take a rest and tomorrow we will have a long journey ahead of us." I tried to not answer that for I have to repent what I did, what I did is the reason why I'm not there to defend my Atlantis, now it is long gone and I don't know where it is.

"Hmm, someone's dodging the subject." he hummed and laid down in bed. "you know I always thought my mother just hated me because of my eyes, my eyes that are different colors. then I realized my eyes are the color of the earth, the land, and the ocean. I'm happy with that thought, I despised these eyes for so long, but now, it makes me comfy to know that I have her eyes, I have my mother's eyes." then I heard some snoring, he fell asleep.

I lay down too and thought of all the things that happened. Father, never told me what happen to Atlantis after the wars, and even when I beg, he won't show me home, my home, my Atlantis, is gone.

I looked at Mnemosyne as he sleeps across my bed, Diaprepres told me that he is the prophecy, the key to finding the Atlantis and making it at peace. he said Mnemosyne is supposed to save us all. maybe I have to teach him, how to fight, how to protect himself, and how to save us all. even when Diaprepres told me that I shouldn't do it, that I shouldn't push him to do all this.

He has to bring back My Atlantis and My Gaia.

I woke up to diaprepres in our room, I saw Mnemosyne stood up to for Diaprepres is in a hurried state.

"Atlas! get up, some Gadeirons are searching for us downstairs, the receptionist is an Atlanteans and she told them that King Atlas is here, so get up in there and let's go, we need to get away as fast as we could!"

diaprepres looked at me "Nobody knows that we found the prophecy, it will have so much CHAOS."
