45: NEW DAWN.

"You have nothing to worry about mama, he is gone, you are now free, build yourself, let your fashion industry run and I will always support you fully," said Daniella.

"You swear baby?" Asked her mum hugging her back.

"Pinky swear mum,"

They both ended up laughing amidst their sorrows.

Daniella looked at her mother. This is the side of her she hasn't seen in years. Her smile, the way she spoke. All she hope for was that she may be happy because she deserved it.

"Hope his death is a new dawn for you," told Daniella as she wiped the tears off her mother's eyes.

"Mmmh," nodded her mother smiling.

She hoped for the same too, she wanted her mother to be there for her and make up for the time she had lost.

"I wanted you to go see your dad together with Vin," said Amanda.

"You know I don't feel like going there mom, I'll prefer to go to school then see his face." Said Daniella in a bored attitude.

"Okay, then you don't have to go to school, because you are mourning, Vin will keep you company as I prepare everything, we will also be receiving visitors so prepare yourself, baby," told Amanda as she fixed the collar of her dress.

"I will mum, I won't disappoint, the sad face yeah," she asked grinning and imitating a sad face.

Amanda smiled and left her in the living room.

"Dad, the mom, am leaving for school," Davids said to her parents.

She felt sorry for her dad. Sue has never seen her feel devasted and weak in her life. But seeing him on the floor today with hands to his head resting his head on his hands, she felt empathy towards his situation.

"It's okay baby," said her mon while kissing her cheeks.

Davids walked by the door, but as if she had forgotten something, she rushed towards her dad and hugged her tight. "I love you, dad,"

With that, she closed the door and went downstairs where she found Ann dusting the living room and placing everything in order.

"Morning Ann," she greeted.

"Hey Davids morning, you good?" Questioned Ann before heading to the kitchen.

"Seeing my dad and mom today, am not good sincerely," replied Davids following her to the kitchen.

"Give your dad sometimes, he gets emotional when someone important to him has a problem, but he will come around," said Ann while handing her a brown package. "Do you want me to pour some coffee for you in your thermo-flask?" She asked.

"Pour some for Andrew I haven't seen him around this morning," she said while trying to look for Andrew.

"Okay, here you go, take care and be yourself okay?"

Davids nodded and kissed her goodbye before leaving through the kitchen's door.

Walking past the garden flower, she carefully lifted the coffee and the droughts for Andrew while trespassing through her mon's beautiful garden. She didn't want her mom to notice someone was using the garden as a passage route. Getting to the garage, she found Andrew looking at the vehicle's engine while trying to fix something in it.

Davids sneaked behind him, and hold his breath with his steps well calculated. "Is she still dramatic today?"

Andrew was startled by her action and threw the spanner down turning round with a swift move.

"For fuck's sake Davids you want to kill me?" Andrew asked.

"Am just behaving the way taught me Mr," chuckled Davids.

She placed the coffee and doughnuts on the stool, before looking at what Andrew was fixing.

"Would you mind being late today Mr?" Questioned Andrew while checking a nut in his hands.

Davids did not want to bother anyone today. Seeing her parents and their sad eyes, and now Andrew trying his best to make sure that she gets to school on time.

"You know," started Davids with a sweet smile on her face. "If you allow me to take that I won't have to tell mum you used a bad word," added Davids pointing at a motorcycle that was coveted with some canvas.

"You are trying, that won't get to me," said Andrew chuckling.

"Come on please, plus, mum and dad are sad they might need your help a lot today," begged Davids.

"Okay, just today you are allowed to take it and be careful, your helmet should be on always and have your driving licence with you,"

Davids nodded to his little speech before uncovering the motorcycle.

"Thanks, Andrew," Davids thanked him sincerely before heading out of the gate waving for the guards who were around.

Vicky heard the noise and went to the window to look at the person who had decided to bless their day with some much roaring of the bike.

"Baby, why is my daughter riding a bike to school?" Vicky asked Mike who was back in bed.

"What?" Asked mike jumping out of his bed to the window.

After seeing Davids on the bike, he rushed downstairs towards the garage.

"Is everything okay Andrew?" Asked Mike as he saw him watching The gate.

"Sir, everything is," replied Andrew placing his flask back to the stop

"And why is Davids riding a bike?" Asked Mike with fear in his face.

"About that Sir, she told me that you guys need me today a lot," said Andrew standing attention in front of Mike.

"Babe, is everything okay, Andrew is Davids alright?" Asked Vicky who was now at the garage barefooted."

Andrew and Mike both shot her a look.

"Yes," they chorused.

Vicky sighed and moved closer to her husband.

"I think she feels like we need more attention than her," said Michael as he kisses Vicky's head.
