Meanwhile the Cai family prepared for there raid on the unknowing Misty Peak Sect, Han Hua was currently talking to a fellow disciple in the same color purple robes as her, it indicated that they were at the same rank as disciples.

"Sister Han, you seem a little absent minded lately. Are you okay?" The female disciple with back length brown hair asked in a somewhat concerned but teasing tone. This woman was known as Wan Yuting she is of the same generation of Han Hua and other disciples of similar rank in the sect.

"... It's nothing really, I just have a few problems to deal with recently. That bastard Cai Liang was killed after chasing me so now we have to worry about the Cai family possibly attacking the sect" She let out a long sigh afterwards, she couldn't imagine the stress she'd have to go through plus the fact that she's hiding the person's killer inside the sect.

Wan Yuting narrowed her eyes at the scene but held back from saying anything as she knew how troublesome the Cai family could be. Specifically their cultivation technique that ignores refining Qi and tempers the body and giving the abnormal speed, strength and defense. She could feel a headache just by thinking about it.

"So? What are you going to do? Are you going to tell the sect master? Seeing that you are the sect's Saintess I doubt he would ignore such an event. "

" I haven't told him yet and apart from you only Aunt Zhu and Elder Long know about this information." She said with a rather complicated expression on her beautiful face but quickly hides it with a neutral expression.

Of course Wan Yuting noticed this change but chose not to comment.

Varian was sitting in his room with a complex expression.

A shiver went down his spine just remembering about it and the fact that he had to rely on cheap trick to beat someone made him feel worse.

Taking a deep breath he remembered when he woke up with all his injuries healed only to be almost killed again before he could even understand what was going on. Then there was that strange pill that made him understand the others despite not knowing the language on a whole.

The book he followed to reconstruct his body from inside out and the energy called 'Qi'... now that he thought about it he could have sworn he heard about it somewhere... "That's it! It's from the novels I always read, the cultivators use this energy called Qi to strengthen themselves and also prolong their life and even some reaching immortality with it! Sometime later at nightfall, a shadow rushed towards the hut atop the hill at frightening speeds and unknown intentions.

BANG!

It broke through the thin door of the hut, however what greeted it inside was a fully alerted and on guard Varian in a martial arts stance.

The shadow snickered and rushed forward in the small hut untill he was infront of Varian before throwing a punch directly to wards his face. Varian, however could see the punch coming towards him and as he put his arm up to block he realized that his body has lost the habits he had developed over the years thus making his arm move a little slower than the punch making it land square in his face and sending him flying through the thin walls of the hut.

[What? What was that power? That's ridiculous! And why are my body sense of touch so dull that I can't even defend? Was it because I learnt that thing from the book that changed my body?]

Not giving him time to think the shadow flickered in front of Varian who barely managed to recover and threw another punch but to his surprise Varian managed to block this time and even tried to counterattack but another snicker came out of the shadow's mouth and redirected his punch sending it to the left.

This continued for another 6 minutes until Varian finally started getting used to fighting in his new body, he also realized that the shadowy figure was fighting not to kill him but it was as if he was analyzing him. This continued for another 10 minutes until Varian took control of the fight and dominating the shadowy figure in close combat for a little over 3 minutes until the shadowy figure's strength and speed exploded and completely beating Varian and kicking him on the ground.

Varian rolled backwards and back on his feet to face his enemy, then suddenly the shadowy figure started to laugh in a voice he found familiar. He removed the mask to reveal himself as the old man he saw when he got rescued Liming Long.
