Above the trees of a familiar forest, two men were flying side by side and scanning the area as if searching for something or more precisely someone. The man on the left was looking around with a nervous look on his face and was sweating profusely and almost about to cry. When they reached a certain area they saw a lifeless body with familiar features laying on the ground. They hurriedly descended to take a look and saw the cruel fate of the person they were looking for.

The man who had a usually calm look was now left with an expression of anger. He suddenly turned to the sweating man and grabbed him by the neck and squeezing as he shouted "ITS ALL entered his body and giving him unfamiliar strenghtYOUR FAULT! YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN PROTECTING HIM, YOU USELESS TRASH". He finally let go of the lifeless body of the man and looked at Cai Liang's pitiful state and said "Father will avenge you, it bet it was that bitch Han Hua from the Misty Peak sect. I will definitely kill her, a mere saintess of a third rate sect dares to kill my son, I Cai Wuqing will appease your death". Streams of tears rolled down his face as he grieved the death of his son.

"Damn! I can't read it so there's no way i can practice this". Varian's voice rang out as it has been almost twelve hours since he took out the blue unnamed book and started flipping through it. He wanted to at least have the power to protect himself in this unknown world so he was eager to practice this thing that they called a martial art. Just when he was about to throw the book he took a glimpse of the drawing of the human body inside the book and followed the way the drawing was sitting then he noticed that there was something flowing though the drawing along with the blood: " So that was it! Its that strange white stream that entered my body the other day, the problem is I don't know how to collect or move it around". He closed his eyes and muttered "Lets try it". As soon as he closed his eyes he began to focus on drawing in the streams of light, he felt the familiar warm sensation as yesterday as something flowed into his body giving an unfamiliar strength suddenly in his body so he stopped quickly and had a satisfied look on his face. He flipped through the book a couple more times just to be sure then he started circulating the streams through every muscle in his body and even using his imagination and letting it flow through his bones but, as soon an he did that it was accompanied by excruciating pain as his bones started to melt and fall apart. If not for his extraordinary discipline and willpower he would have stopped.

POP! POP! POP!

The sound of bones breaking sounded throughout the little shack along with the sound of heavy breathing. This persisted for two whole hours where his bones broke and melted then regrew and adding to the pain. Soon after the streams went into his muscle fibers and started tearing them apart along with a searing heat that could boil blood causing Varian to shout in pain but still not daring to stop as he didn't know what result would happen if he stopped in the middle of such an act. After another hour with blood splattered everywhere and skin and tissue all around like a lizard had just shed skin. Soon, the streams penetrated into his body and started warming up his organs, this was where Varian got nervous. Not even giving him time to think the stream went into his liver then violently exploded it and formed a new one then went to his kidneys, lungs, pancreas, typhoid, bladder, heart and brain and did the same thing. He was internally wondering how he did not die.

After finishing such a process he opened his eyes to see the blood and what seem to be his skin on the floor. The first thing he notices about his body was that now he could think twice as fast in a short time, the second thing was his now neck length hair followed by the sharp increase in his 5 basic senses. Looking at his body he noticed that his once white shirt was drenched in a reddish-black substance that did not smell very pleasant especially to his now heightened sense of smell.

Standing up he could still feel the pain of having his body practically destroyed and rebuilt from inside out. The other thing he realized is that his muscles are more defined than they used to be and all unnecessary fat was gone even his jawline and face became more defined. He took off his shirt and saw that his six pack are now replaced by a tight eight pack. He also checked his little brother and noticed that that even he was enhanced during the process.

He rummaged through the items that came out of the ring and found a set of grey robes, he looked at them with an uncomfortable look as he didn't like wearing other people's clothing however he had no choice now although this set of robes looked untouched. He set them at the little rectangular place filled with thatch that was supposed to be a bed then walked out of the shack looking for a source of water to get the grime off his body. He walked for four minutes before reaching a stream and threw his pants along with his underwear to the side and jumped in and washed all the grime off his body while relieving some of the pain causes by the enhancement. After ten minutes he walked out and grabbed his underwear and pants and washed them before putting them on then returning to the shack.

Reaching back to the shack he realized that he should have brought some water to wash away the mess in the shack. He quickly put on the robes on and nodded in satisfaction when they fit him perfectly before descending the mountain again this time with a bucket and filled it with water and cleaned the shack and his shirt.

"Phew, all this work made me forget about practice"

THIS MARTIAL ARTS FANATIC! Even in another world where he doesn't even know the basic communication he still practices, is his head filled with only martial arts? Has he even eaten anything since he got here?

After another two hours of practicing he realized that he wasn't getting tired so his stamina was also enhanced along with his body however he started getting hungry as a result. He went back into the shack and sat on what was supposed to be a bed.

Ascending a mountain was Han Hua accompanied by a brown haired little girl that had a plate and silverware in her hands. They had been walking for a few minutes and although Han Hua could fly to the mountain it would draw attention and not to mention that the little girl was a mortal with no cultivation so she had no choice but to accompany her.

Finally reaching the top of the mountain and seeing the shack infront the pair walked forward and as they were about to enter they suddenly felt danger coming from inside the room as they saw a palm stretched towards Han Hua who barely managed to dodge put her guard up several notches with a bead of sweat running down her face. Looking up at the source of the attack she saw a handsome man in grey robes with an outstretched hand aiming directly at her and she thought internally [What the hell happened here!? How did he get so strong to even put me, a dignified mid-stage foundation building cultivator on edge? It hasn't even been two days and he's already in the middle stage of Body Quenching, I'm not even confident in beating him had that attack went through].

She looked at him with an indifferent expression but inside the was in turmoil. To think that this powerless guy who almost died yesterday is now this strong in just a couple of hours.

Seeing this scene the little brown haired girl couldn't help but wer in fear as she hid behind Han Hua with the objects in hand, she only came out when the situation became calmer. She walked towards the man and gave him the objects in her hand and to her delight he grabbed it and started to scarf down the contents inside which were braised chicken, white rice, dumplings and some vegetables.

Finished eating Varian relaxed his body and looked at Han Hua with the same cold look as when he first met her which she also did. She the took out a white bottle and took out a brown-ish looking pill and handed it to him to swallow. He took it and swallowed it which repeated the same sequence of itching he felt the first time he took it only that this time he could tolerate it.

Han Hua got straight down to business and said that she would be teaching him Chinese as the comprehension pills he took were extremely valuable to the sect and couldn't be use everytime they wanted to communicate, to which he nodded in agreement then her next words shocked him. She proposed or more correctly ordered him to not leave the mountain no matter what, not make too much noise one the mountain and he will only be given meals when necessary. He hurriedly agreed.

Han Hua finally couldn't hold it any longer and asked, "What did you do to get so strong in a short time?" Varian moved the streams of light into the ring and focused on the blue book and gave it to her while saying, " I only followed what was shown in this book, I couldn't read it so I had to just look at the pictures and follow the movement of this strange stream of light and moving it through my body, I also used my imagination and did things that weren't depicted in there."

Han Hua took the book and realized that it was only a normal grade body exercise that shouldn't do anything drastic to the body and only make the body slightly stronger so the change was mainly attributed to his imagination and impulse. She explained that the stream of light he was seeing was called "Qi" and it could be used to do a lot of things. It could also be stored inside the body via a dantian and utilized by things called spirit roots.

After her brief explanation she got up and said, "It's getting late so I will leave and come back tomorrow when I have time to teach you Chinese. Remember not to do the things I listed out." After saying that she left with the little brown haired girl.

Varian was now digesting the new information he got and couldn't help but wonder what the future held for him. He was even more excited to think about the fights that awaited him and also looking forward to his own growth during the journey.
