" how about we hang out again tomorrow?" we spoke after he drop me off at the front of my apartment building. " I will....."

" I can't tomorrow..... I have a job interview " I cut him off

" oh " disappointed " really. then I hope it goes well "

" me too... oh.. I forgot to ask about the investigation earlier today, how is it going? "

" the police didn't find anything. it's like he magically ended up in that freezer and it's disturbing. " in beep thought " The guy is alive luckily about still unconscious.... "

" I am sure, you are the police's biggest suspect "

" oh yes I am " he smiled " but it's ok, I am lucky I don't even know the guy so they have nothing against me. I just pray he wakes up and tell us what happened " still smiling but I knew it was fake, I see it in his eyes. this is all because Vicnan decided to make stupid decisions

" It's all that idiot's fault " I whispered to myself

" oh.... nothing. I should head in now "Smiling I reached for the door

" Cleo..." he calls, stopping my action and I turn to look at him "Thank you for hanging out with me..... I had fun " smiled brightly and I smiled back in Respond

" good night " I got out of the car and waved him off

The moment I entered the house I met Vivian, she was about to leave. " where are you going?"

" something big is happening at home, " she spoke with excitement " I got to go " she walk past me, reaching for the door " Oh.... there is pizza in the fridge... and don't forget, you are going to tell me how your date went, tomorrow ". not giving me a chance to debate, she smiled before leaving and the sound of the door shut, echoed in the air, followed by deep silence

" Hh" I sighed, making my way to the couch. I drop my purse on the table and sat down, immediately, Vicnan came to mind. I haven't seen him since that night and he didn't care to check up on me, all of a sudden I find him spying on me at the amusement park. " Vicnan " I called out and waited but there was no response. " Vicnan.... I don't get why I have to call you twice " scold but still no response. the room remained silent for a while and when I was about to give up.

" what did I do this time " I flinch at his sudden appearance in front of me. looking down at me with his arms crossed, Damn, he is hot.

" why were you following me?" went straight to business "Are you a stalker?"

" hey... I was just looking after you " he said and I raised an eyebrow at him

" looking after me? "

" Yeah," he takes a seat next to me. we weren't close but I could feel the heat coming from him, reminding me of that night he saved me and held me close. I want to cuddle him so badly and feel his warm

" you sound like you care about me," I said, looking away from him

" I never said I didn't " He had a confused tone

" do you?" the room fell into silence and my eyes fell on him only to see him looking at me. our gaze met. it took me a while to speak again " I know you don't care. You only come around when I call you. If you did you would have come to check up on me all this while, so why did you follow me around today?" sounding serious

" you are still offended by what I said the other night, aren't you?" not looking away from me, I couldn't look away either like he got me under a spell

" hh " a gasp escaped my lips " I know I shouldn't be offended because you were right, but I am, I wouldn't lie.... it sounded like you were mocking me.... I trust you and I don't know why, I am surprisingly comfortable around you even if we just met and you are something that I should fear, I still trust you but you mocked me "

" am sorry.... I honestly didn't mean it in a hurtful way " He carried a guilty expression which I almost fell for and forgave him

" once again you are sounding like you care when I..." he cut me off

" I do care " Those purple eyes got me under its spell " if I didn't, I won't come to you whenever you call. I hate humans but I like you" I got fluttered

" y....wh...why " I didn't know the question to ask

" I find you interesting " he shrugs. does words were enough to wash away my anger. Once again we fell into silence. what is wrong with me? why am I like this? do I have feelings for this guy or something? he smiled

" Vicnan " the name rolled out of my lips smoothly

" Yes "

" What is wrong with me?" I asked

" Pardon?"

" Why do I feel this way towards you " he smiled " I am serious.... something is wrong with me.... why am I like this "

" How should I know? I am not inside you " says reluctantly then looked away, immediately I sensed something, something strange and new

" You are lying " I saw the shock in his eyes, and they fell on me "You know what is wrong with me but you won't tell me " I didn't know how but I sensed it. the moment he said those words, I knew it was a pure lie " Am I wrong? "

" Why would I hide something from you " I sensed it again. another lie " Am I scared of you or something "

" you are lying again " He raised an eyebrow at my words

" and how would you know that?" curiosity written in his eyes

" I don't know. I just sensed it "

" That was fast..... hh...what should I do now " he whispered but I heard then looked away

" what was fast?" lost in the conversation. " Vicnan?"

" yes "

"What are you talking about?"

" I can't give you an answer to that question because there is a lot behind it that should not be known," he said with honesty this time.

" so you know what is wrong but you won't tell me, " I said almost in relief " Why? "

" because it is better that way. don't worry, with time you won't feel this way again " said not looking my way. I sensed his words were true and a lie at the same time. what are these senses? do I have supper powers now or what?

" the reason behind it, is it bad?" he nodded in response "Oh... I see " In deep thought. I would be honest, as much as it worries me that I do not know what is wrong with me. I still kind of like the feeling. " But I am not crazy right.... to feel this way " It took him a while to respond

" No, you are not "

"Since we are answering questions.... I was wondering. why did you save me the other night in the woods, I mean how did you know I was in danger and why did you save me?"

" Are you unhappy that I saved you?" confusion written in those eyes

" no, I mean... you always emphasise how much you hate humans. you do not look like someone who goes around saving people and treating them. then why am I different?"

" I already told you. I found you interesting " he lied again

" you are lying again "

" oh fuck it " almost raising his voice, he stood up "Will you stop that. why would I lie" turns to me

" but I can sense that you are lying"

" then your senses are wrong " spoke in defence "What are you? A magician all of a sudden?" he sounded angry but he wasn't and I smile at his reaction, wondering why he was getting all worked up " I found you interesting, that is why I saved you" he lied again but I just smiled in response.

"Whatever... next question...."

" no more questions " He cut me off with a frown making me grin. Now I knew he has answers and just didn't want to tell me. I will get these answers slowly

" ok" I stood up and wall past him " Will you eat pizza," I asked while making my way to the kitchen but did get any response. I took out the pizza and arrange the leftovers on a plate then put it in the microwave. just as I turn around, my soul almost left my body to see him standing behind me "Oh shit " too close, he was too close

" I am not a fan of human food," he said with eyes locked on mine

" oh....oh " He was too close, I could feel his heat " Then what do you eat then. flesh " with an eyebrow raised

" you do not what to know " spoke as calmly as ever

" Vicnan. you are too close." I said finding it hard to focus

" what? do I make you feel uncomfortable?" it took a while for me to answer

" Yes. and you will say am crazy if I tell you it's in a good way," I said, looking deep into his eyes and I notice he was surprised "Please move " He immediately took a few steps back "Thank you.... hhh" sighed in relief. we remained in silence, the only sound heard was the one coming from the microwave " I need a favour "Breaking the silence, I turn to see him leaning on the fridge, watching me with something that I couldn't read in his eyes " What?"

" Nothing " smiled "What do you need "

" oh.... I have a job interview tomorrow " I began knowing I wasn't proud of what I am about it ask, but what can I do? I need the job " I need your help to get the job "

" my help?...." with a confused tone " to get the job?.... Why?.. you are a skilled doctor "

"After my last incident with a VIP patient that died. no hospital wants to employ me... I don't know if there is a way you can help me " He raised an eyebrow at me "Oh come on... with all your amazing abilities, surely you can help me " I said desperately

" Amazing " with a proud expression. he seemed to like the compliment

" yes, amazing. " I repeated and he thought for a while

" ok " Nodding, I got overwhelmed with joy

" Damn, I want to hug you right now," I said excitedly and got taken aback when he spread his arms for me to hug him

" Nothing should stop you "

" I will save it for when I get the job," I noticed the disappointment on his face. he looks cute
