Organizations and Power Path - Chapter 2

Aron started waiting for Margan to come back with the books.

If he were to say that he is not excited to read and learn more about the world, he would be lying.

Aron could not help but think that his emotions were weirdly in good condition.

"I don't know why, but I do not feel scared or anxious at all, considering that I am in a harsh world with many evil and horrible things."

Aron did not know the reason for the time being, but he knew that, in the end, there was no need to care for something like that at this time.

At that time, Margan entered the tent. In his hands are more than three books; two of them are brown, and one of them is black.

Margan looked at the books, and he started to walk towards himself.

Beast Collection, Organization, and Empires are brown, and their names and contents are self-explained in their titles.

What made Aron curious was the magic and mystery.

Margan put the books beside Aron's bed and smiled.

"Here, these books will give you a clear idea; please make it quick to read and memorize."

Aron nodded, and then Margan left without saying anything.

He does not know the exact reason, but it seems like Margan is especially good-natured towards himself.

"He must have his reasons."

Aron thought and then focused on the books.

He first started reading the Beast Collection, and as he read and understood, he took a deep breath from time to time.

"Zombie-type creatures, demon-type creatures, beast-type creatures, and many abominations—there are so many that I am not sure if I can remember them."

After about an hour, he stopped reading Beast Collection and read Organizations and Empires.

In just ten minutes, he read about many organizations and empires, but there are only three organizations and three big empires, which is huge compared to others on the continent of Aiwa.

Which is the continent he is on, according to the book and the map? The map was not detailed. It only showed important places and cities.

Aron commented in his mind.

He drank from his soup, took a bite from his black bread, and put down the book of Organizations and Empires.

"Now, this is the most important."

He said to himself and then took the book named Magic and Mystery.

Necromancers use this for divination, seeking guidance or knowledge from the afterlife.

Magical strength correlates with piety and favor with their chosen deity.

Excessive use risks losing humanity to darkness.

Through rituals, they command and share senses with animal companions, whose strength is determined by the bond.

The Legendary Watcher uses the Existence meditation to understand celestial forces.

The spiritual forces and the meaning of everything

As they gain more knowledge and get connected to their existence, they gain abilities that break reality.

The potential of a watcher is the highest, but it is also the hardest path.

Aron took a deep breath and then whispered.

"The Voice, which one should I choose?"

After some time, the voice answered.

"The user can choose any of these and start his path; he should think about his "scan" ability when choosing."

 "An ability is a max-level ability that, if used correctly, is too powerful and is a law-breaking ability."

"The user also needs to know that the number of classes and pathways is almost limitless in the whole universe; all in all, it comes down to the control of origin energy.

"The people in general would have no idea what kind of class a person has if it is not too popular."

"All the people that have the class and ability to control origin energy are called Pathtakers."

Aron took a deep breath and was surprised.

He asked "The Voice," but he did not expect an answer like this this quick.

"Okay, then. I will keep in mind that pathtakers are in the end general names, like mages who control magic or cultivators who control qi."

Aron was familiar with these terms because he was from Earth in the end. 

Considering that he was an avid reader, it was not hard to understand these things.

Aron smiles and then thinks.

"Vampire Path and Werewolf Path are too dangerous and not good enough for me, so I am eliminating them from the start."

"Necromancers and Undead Masters are too evil and need too many resources if I remember correctly from the games and books I read when I was living on Earth, so I am going to pass them."

"Religious Masters, Human Warriors, and Beast Masters are all not compatible with me; this leaves me with the choice of Mindful Monk and Legendary Watcher."

Aron laughs at himself and then comments.

"I am not a monk, that is clear."

"It seems like it is clear what I am going to choose."
