While Viktor was off training with the dragon matriarch, the rest of the family was minding their own business.

Emma saw her son Viktor silently affected by something that happened with Braimhs.

Emma sensed that Viktor not talking to that young girl had more of an impact on him than he tried to show.

And she looked for the young woman so she could talk to her. The young woman didn't seem bad to Emma, only that Viktor turned away from her for no apparent reason.

It was strange for Viktor to talk to someone with familiarity and for someone to like him. So Emma knew there was a reason.

She went to look for the young woman after using some of her powers to sense where she was by seeing the destiny that brought them together.
