Seeing Kushina's angry face, Hiruzen quickly responded in his elderly voice, "Kushina, you look exhausted, and it's quite cold right now. Take Minato's cloak to keep yourself and the baby warm so he doesn't get sick."
Handing the cloak over to Kushina, Hiruzen added with a gentle smile, "As far as I can tell, Minato is a strong man. A bit of cold won't bother him."
"Hmph!"
Still feeling angry, Kushina snorted and took the cloak Hiruzen offered, draping it over her body with one hand. She then stepped aside and watched as Hiruzen carried Minato on his back.
Carrying Minato on his back, Hiruzen slowly walked toward the village, with Kushina following behind, cradling baby Naruto against her bosom.
As time passed, they reached the village just before sunrise and entered through the gate.
Typically, a person could cover the short distance in about an hour at a normal pace. However, it took them at least two hours to reach the village gate.
Although Hiruzen could cover the distance quickly on his own, he needed to adjust his pace to accommodate Kushina's condition.
Kushina had just given birth the previous night and had not had proper rest. With each step, she felt a sharp pain in her lower body, causing her ass to jerk a little and let out faint moans. As a result, she needed to walk slowly to minimize the discomfort.
As they entered the village gate, they were met with a scene of devastation. Rubble from the battlefield was scattered everywhere. Villagers were busy clearing the debris from the roads, while others stood by, mourning the loss of their loved ones.
Kushina observed the civilians working together to clear the debris and occasionally glanced at those mourning their losses. Seeing their grief, she felt a twinge of guilt, knowing that as the jinchuriki of the nine-tailed fox, she was linked to the tragic events that had unfolded.
Though the civilians remained silent as she passed with the presence of the two Hokages, Kushina could still sense the suspicion and hatred in their eyes toward her and the beast sealed within her.
After walking slowly through the busy people clearing the rubble, they finally arrived at the Hospital building of the village.
Around the hospital, numerous injured people were still waiting to get inside for full treatment. Medical-nin walked around, checking the conditions of the patients and prioritizing those in critical condition.
When Kushina and Hiruzen reached the hospital, many people noticed their presence and quickly made a path toward the entrance. After all, it was a rare sight to see a Hokage carrying another Hokage to the hospital.
From the hospital building, four medical-nin rushed out, running through the path cleared by the crowd and carrying two emergency beds.
Arriving in front of them, the four quickly bowed their heads and greeted, "Third Hokage-sama, Fourth Hokage-sama, Lady Kushina-sama!"
Hiruzen nodded and placed Minato gently on one of the emergency bed. He then looked at Kushina and signaled for her to lie down on the second bed.
Without hesitation, Kushina approached the bed and lay down, cuddling baby Naruto to rest her body.
The four medical-nin lifted the beds and looked at the Third Hokage for further instructions.
Hiruzen nodded and said, "Get the Fourth Hokage and Kushina a room inside the hospital."
"Understood, Third Hokage-sama!" they shouted in unison, then rushed back inside the hospital to secure a room inside.
Watching the four medical-nin disappear inside the hospital building, Hiruzen took a deep breath and turned away.
He then walked toward the Hokage building to supervise the situation of the village.
With Minato unconscious, the village needed his presence to operate normally.
....
Two weeks passed by in the blink of an eye.
During this time, the funeral ceremony of the decease took place a week ago. Thanks to everyone's efforts, the renovation of destroyed houses and roads is almost complete.
However, grief and sorrow still lingered heavily around Konoha. The tragic event of the Nine-Tailed Fox rampaging through the village occurred just two weeks ago, and it may take the people several more days, months, or even years to move on and continue with their lives.
In a special room on the top floor of the Konoha Hospital, a bed is situated beside the window.
Lying on the bed is a man with long yellow hair cascading over his shoulders. If one looked closely, his appearance seemed almost otherworldly, with his fine skin glistening in the light from outside.
This figure is Minato, who had passed out two weeks ago. Those who know him well would quickly notice the change in his appearance that unfolded over these past weeks.
Minato slowly and shakily opened his eyes, staring at the ceiling above. His eyes were cloudy, as if he had just woken from a ten-year coma.
After a moment, his eyes regained clarity, and he sat up. He then darted his clear blue eyes, now flecked with small spots of yellow light in his pupils, around the room, observing his surroundings and his body.
"Has the transmigration been successful?" Jake, now inhabiting Minato's body through the Heaven's intervention, wondered aloud.
After inspecting his new body for a while, Jake, now Minato, got out of bed and stood on the ground. He then walked over to the mirror hanging on the wall inside the room.
Reaching the mirror, he looked at his own reflection, his eyes widening in surprise.
"Is this really Minato? It's looks different from what I remember." The reflection showed a Minato with long yellow hair that reached his chest. Moreover, his hair was not as spiky as before, though the unique pointed hairstyle was still there, albeit barely.
"Well, I guess I really am Minato now, and the Heavenly Body works wonders. I'm also a bit taller than I remember Minato being. From what I can tell, I'm at least six feet," Minato said, rubbing his chin.
He then remembered something and looked closely at his eyes in the mirror. "Ahh... how beautiful, like starry skies at night," he said, admiring the tiny yellow spots in his bright blue eyes.
Minato then stepped back from the mirror and stood in the center of the room. He took off his clothes, exposing his upper body, and began stretching to warm himself up.
After a while of stretching, Minato stopped and stood still. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and assumed a fighting posture. Moments later, his hands blurred as he threw punches at the empty space in front of him.
"Swish!" "Swish!"
Minato threw punch after punch, swiftly turning his body to kick the air. The sound of slicing through the air echoed with each movement. His body was a blur of speed, showcasing the skill and experience of a great fighter.
Amidst his fast movements, Minato focused his mind on his eyes. The tiny yellow spots in his pupils began to glow brightly, turning his eyes a bright yellow.
As his eyes glowed brightly, Minato suddenly felt as if time had stopped around him, and he sensed that all the space in the room was under his control and could be reached instantly if wanted.
Experiencing this, Minato halted his movements to savor the brief sense of control over space and time. After a moment, the sensation faded, and his bright yellow eyes returned to their normal clear blue state.
A while later, Minato's eyes gleamed with excitement.
"That was incredible. Is this the true power of the Six Eyes? I didn't realize it could control space and time," Minato exclaimed eagerly.
He continued, "Perhaps this explains the powerful technique known as domain expansion, infinite void."
"Furthermore, the burden of the Six Eyes is no issue for me, as I have perfect control over it and can activate it whenever I choose."
"Haha! This is amazing. Hahaha!"
Minato's laughter echoed through the room as he reveled in the sensation of his newfound power and the realization of his unlimited potential.
After a moment, he calmed himself and took a deep breath, recognizing that what he possessed was merely the potential to become the greatest.
He then tensed his muscle fibers and clenched his hand into a fist.
Looking at his clenched fists, he remarked, "This body is perfect, there's no hindrance when I move, as if I've always had this body from birth."
"Hehe."
Minato chuckled, rubbing his chin as he added, "What else would I expect from Heaven? It's guiding me through my transmigration. Of course, it's perfect and flawless beyond measure."
"Click!"
As Minato continued to admire the work of Heaven, he suddenly heard the door click open. He turned his head to see who it was.
Through the open door, Minato saw a girl on her teen with long white hair poking her head inside.
Minato narrowed his eyes in doubt, confusion filling his being as he looked at her face.
