'Aaahhhrrgggg!!!!'
Jake continued to scream in agony, like a soul on the verge of turning into a ghost.
As an unknown amount of time passed during Jake's suffering, the excruciating pain gradually subsided to a bearable level. His soul body began to operate on its own, assimilating the mysterious power flowing within and becoming one with it.
As his soul assimilated the mysterious power, the pain Jake felt in his soul body gradually faded. During the process, he could feel himself growing stronger as the mysterious power altered the essence and properties of his soul.
As time passed and the assimilation process neared its end, the pain in his soul body completely disappeared. It was replaced by a sense of comfort and a refreshing feeling, as if he had survived a great disaster.
Jake closed his eyes, savoring the comfort in his body. He could feel himself different from before, as if he had been reborn.
He then observed his soul, feeling the newfound power within. He noticed countless spots of yellow light throughout his entire soul, resembling a field of stars within his body.
Jake cast his gaze away from his soul body and looked around indifferently. If he once saw himself as a mortal, he now saw himself as a god, looking down on everything.
However, seeing the endless white space surrounding him, he realized there was nothing to show off his achievements to. The feeling of power muddied his senses, and he forgot he was just a soul without a body, trapped in this white space.
Jake realized his current situation and suddenly felt embarrassed for no reason. With the perception of his improved soul, he could faintly sense a gaze covering the endless white space.
"Soul, state where you wish to transmigrate," a voice reverberated throughout the endless white space.
Hearing the ancient voice, Jake couldn't help but feel it was mocking him for his earlier humiliation. He then pondered where he would like to transmigrate, not realizing that the voice had spoken externally, not within his mind.
"I want to transmigrate into the shinobi world of the Naruto universe. Specifically, I wish to inhabit the body of Minato Namikaze," Jake stated, hoping to avoid a random transmigration.
"Ehh…" Jake realized after a moment that he could now speak his thoughts aloud from his mouth.
However, before he could fully grasp the fact that he could now make a sound with his soul, he suddenly heard a crushing noise as if space itself was grinding against each other.
Then, Jake's world of view spun violently, leaving his mind blank as his soul's figure vanished from the endless white space. The last thing he saw before everything went black was the white space distorted into chaos under the deafening sound of colliding dimensions.
As the sound of colliding dimensions faded, the endless white space returned to its previous state, turning back its usual silence.
....
In the shinobi world, within one of the Five Great Elemental Nations, lies the Hidden Leaf Village, a prominent ninja village located in the Land of Fire.
The bright moon hung high above, casting a pale light over the Hidden Leaf Village.
The village is silent, with most people already asleep, unaware of the boiling tension in the air.
"ROOAAARRRR!!!!"
Amidst the silent town, a deafening roar erupted, breaking the silence and signaling an imminent disaster. The sleeping villagers jolted awake, peering out their windows or stepping outside to see the source of the soul-shaking sound.
Then, what greeted their eyes was an enormous fox with nine long tails. The fox's tails swung wildly, producing thunderous sounds as they struck the ground and buildings, leaving rubble in their wake.
The sight shook everyone's hearts, as if the hand of death was about to crush them to pieces.
"Aahhhh!!! It's the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox! The demon fox is on a rampage! Run!!" A shout of fear echoed through the village, snapping everyone out of their daze. The shout marked the beginning of the chaos that was about to ensue.
As the shout's words imprinted on their minds, the people quickly reacted, screaming at the top of their lungs and running wildly for their lives.
The nine-tailed fox's menacing eyes glared at the chaotic villagers with hatred. It roared once more, raising its hand and striking the buildings below of it.
"BOOM!!!" The ground trembled as the nine-tailed fox's attack landed.
The village shook, causing many fleeing people to stumble and fall, terrified out of their wits.
The nine-tailed fox didn't stop and continued its rampage through the village, destroying many houses and claiming numerous lives.
As buildings collapsed, numerous individuals in military uniforms leaped onto the rooftops at the distance, making their way toward the nine-tailed fox.
Upon reaching the nine-tailed fox, they quickly surrounded it and performed various hand signs. Moments later, jutsus were cast: earthen walls rose from the ground, fireballs flew through the air, sharp winds howled, and a powerful gush of water poured down from above.
However, the nine-tailed fox remained unfazed by the attacks. It swung all its tails at the incoming jutsus, causing them to vanish instantly. With a roar, the fox resumed its rampage, slaughtering many of the shinobi who had cast the spells.
"Retreat!! The demon fox is too powerful for us to handle! Call for backup immediately and send someone to inform Lord Fourth Hokage to deal with the fox!!" A man that seemed to be a leader shouted urgently to his comrades.
The man then watched in horror as the nine-taild fox tore his comrades apart. Noticing a tail swinging down from above, he quickly realized his predicament and made a series of hand signs.
"Shi- BANG!!" The man was crushed into pieces as the tail struck the house he was standing on, splitting it in half.
"Dammit!! The captain is dead! Retreat!!"
The remaining shinobis shouted in panic and fled, leaving the area immediately as the fox continued its rampage.
As time passed, more Shinobi arrived and formed a circle around the nine-tailed fox, working together to contain its destruction and minimize further damage to the village.
"Where are the Hokages?! We can't hold on much longer! The demon fox is too powerful!" a voice cried out amidst the chaos and destruction.
"Someone is already on their way to the Hokage building!" came the response.
"There's already someone on they're way to the Hokage bulding!!" A response came.
Hearing this, many of the Shinobi looked at the rampaging Nine-Tailed Fox with grim expressions. Their strength was insufficient to withstand even a single blow from the demon fox, they can only hold this long because of their sheer number.
"We must hold on! We'll pinned our hopes to the Hokages!!" a voice shouted in encouragement.
As time went on, the death toll among the Shinobi continued to rise. The surviving Shinobi's hope began to wane as they watched their comrades being torn apart before their eyes.
Suddenly, an elongated staff shot through the air and struck the nine-tailed fox in the chest.
"BOOM!!"
The nine-tailed fox slammed into the ground, creating a large crater as it was pushed back and pinned by the staff.
"Enma... It's the Third Hokage! Lord Third Hokage has arrived!! Haha!! We're saved!" A shout of relief echoed across the battlefield.
Seeing the staff that pinned the demon fox, the eyes of all the Shinobi lit up with joy and excitement. However, their relief was quickly replaced by a horrifying roar that shook them to their core.
"RROOOOOOAAAAARRRR!!!!!"
The nine-tailed fox roared furiously, its anger unmistakable. It then swiped its hand, forcefully striking the staff pinning its chest.
The staff was flung aside and retreated to a distance. The nine-taild fox then stood up and glared menacingly at the approaching figure in the far distance.
It roared once more and lunged forward, baring its sharp maw as it aimed to crush and tear apart the figure flying toward it.
Meanwhile, Hiruzen saw what the nine-taild fox intended to do and raised his staff high, ready to strike the nine-taild fox's sharp teeth.
"PANG!!"
The staff clashed with the nine-taild fox's maw, producing a deep, metallic sound.
"Boom!!"
Hiruzen was thrown back by the nine-taild fox's immense strength, crashing heavily to the ground and kicking up a cloud of dust. Without hesitation, he lifted his staff once more and soared toward the nine-tailed fox, which was now extending its claws to meet him.
