loot hoarder

Alex lives an uninspiring life, as a high school student. The stories he heard from his late grandmother about his parents demise in a dimension war, felt like nothing more than tales. According to her, a relentless conflict raged between monstrous beings and humans withing that dimension. A war that somehow led to the banishment of his family. However, Alex dismissed it all as nonsense. Yet everything changed in an instant when he stumbled upon a gleaming, ancient artifact concealed in the depths of his basement. Little did he know, the artifact would transport him onto that fabled dimension. The gravity of his grandmother's tales now loomed before him, casting ominous shadow upon his, and his familys past, as he uncovers devestating secrets.

Unwavering determination

On his knees, Alex breathed heavily,

his shoulder, still sending waves of unfathomable pain.

the intense pain, blurred out the rest of Alex's injuries.

Only now Alex sees that its not only his shoulder, but deep cuts are spread throughout

his body.

In its moment of death, the creature tried all he could to take Alex with him,

biting and scratching violently.

And only now can Alex feel it.

He looked forward, straight to the temple ahead.

The temple was still far, but could be seen clearly.

the temple was quite monumental, unlike any temple alex had ever seen.

Its towering presence, as if commanding attention, casting long, haunting shadows,

that added to its haunting presence.

At the pinnacle of the temple, an unsettling object took shape.

Resembling a distant star with an unblinking red eye at its center,

its slit like gaze penetrating the depths of ones soul.

Guarding the entrance, were two colossal pillars, their immense size

giving the impression that they alone bore the weight of the entire temple.

However time had taken its toll on these ancient pillars.

Leaving visible cracks that caused a sense of unease.

Alex scowled as he caught the sight of that damned eye,

Gritting his teeth in frustration.

'Ugh, that stupid eye... you're the one who started all this mess'

Alex squinted his eyes, attempting to fix his gaze on the looming object,

but to no avail.

Despite its uncanny resemblance, the one at the top of the temple

appeared devoid the same enchanting aura.

But suddenly, a peculiar feeling gripped Alex.

A powerful intuition, a feeling of profound certainty.

He felt, without a shadow of doubt, that his path to return home,

lay somewhere within the confines of the temple.

However, before he could even consider escaping this world, he had

to avoid being sacrificed.

Alex glanced at the survivors.

'They must be crazy powerful, killing off all the beasts, with simple,

brute force...

cant i just tell them im not into that freaky shit?'

He shrugged, knowing deep down that this army had seen its fair share of battles.

Their unwavering determination that burned within their hearts.

To even doubt their resolve, and goal, is simply out of the question.

They would never let him go.

Alex sighed, realizing he had to put some serious thought into his next moves.

He needed a plan to shake them off, to break free from this madness.
