Agreement

Dr. Kayle asked one of the warden to take him to see Reynard West. His discussions with the Inspector seem to have had positive outcomes. The man only cared about money, and he was perfectly capable of handling Inspector Fredrin. He was well-known to Dr. Kayle. He was unable to have misread the Inspector. The Inspector once had influence from a third party when he applied to the police academy. He made a financial investment to get into the academy. That is how bribery came to be practiced until it became into a lifelong habit. Indeed, whatever that gets off to a bad start will inevitably get off to a bad finish. Whether we want to believe it or not, it is a natural rule that must be followed.

Dr. Kayle followed a warden while moving. The two of them were now walking down a long, dimly lit corridor. Dr. Kayle can see several vacant cells. Despite the city's high crime rate, he had questioned why this prison was so empty. Perhaps the criminals out there haven't had time to make it to court.

The warden said, "You can meet Reynard West there, sir."

He indicated one of the cells in the room's corner. He then took a step back to observe their interaction. Dr. Kayle approached the cell. In the cell's corner, he noticed a young man looking thoughtful. He didn't ask Reynard to talk to him right away. He kept an eye on Reynard's actions for a while. He would only know Reynard was the one he had been waiting for all this time if he was satisfied.

Dr. Kayle told Mr. West, "Mr. West, can we talk for a minute, please, I guarantee you will never regret it."

Reynard used to simply ignore everybody who was now attempting to see him. But after giving the man's face a brief glance, he recognized that he had seen him before. His physical attributes seem familar. Reynard then slowly walked up to the man. His eyes scanned him from head to toe. Reynard asked with a puzzled expression, "Do I recognize you?"

"Not just you, but all of your pals also recognize me. I'll bet that we first met in the market. Both of us have seen street battles. If I'm not mistaken, your pals were also likely involved in the fight. Of course you don't know who I am. But trust me, I am very familiar with you," Dr. Kayle said.

Reynard thought deeply. He last visited the market while participating in a pickpocketing operation with his companions. They went after a rich man who was alone in the market and unprotected by anyone. Reynard's expression immediately changed. "You're the rich man we picked up recently, right?"

Dr. Kayle chuckled. He laughed at Reynard's astonished appearance. "Finally, you understood it too. But it makes no difference. That's not the topic we're going to talk about. I did meet you because of that situation. But in reality, I've been watching you for months. I genuinely think you possess unique skills compared to other people," Dr. Kayle stated.

Reynard was beginning to have doubts about this man. He had no idea who this man was or where he had come from. He was someone he didn't personally know. However, this man abruptly acknowledged that he had been watching Reynard for some time. Reynard questioned icily, "What do you know about me?"

"One of my men witnessed your escape from the cops yesterday. You probably experienced a headache at that moment. Consequently, you lost consciousness twice. Actually, all you need is some practice. Your strength will thus be very useful to you," Dr. Kayle stated. It seemed that he knew very well about the power that Reynard had.

"Why do you say that? Is that the reason you're now trying to find me? Fine, first whatever you have to offer, I'll flatly refuse. I'm not in the mood to deal with anyone. I've lost all my friends, and my life is over. They must be worried about me now. " Reynard complained indignantly. He was attempting to disgust the man with himself.

"What if you could catch up with your buddies tomorrow? Furthermore, you deserve having your life back. You don't have to waste away in jail. All you have to do is do as I say, and things will be back to normal," Dr. Kayle stated. In order to transport Reynard to his lab, he needed Reynard to accept his offer.

"What made you do that? You are well know of my recent fifteen-year prison time, I'm sure. Inspector Fredrin is a barrier that you cannot cross. He wants me like a hunted animal." Reynard gave the man a critical look. "Go, sir. You're just wasting your time here," he insisted.

Dr. Kayle giggled once again. While he was on the verge of gaining what he desired, the young man in front of him tried to intimidate him into leaving. "I've spoken to the Inspector. He doesn't mean much to me. I'll also communicate with the people that will pick you up tomorrow later. They'll cave to my demands. We'll go around the lab tomorrow."

"What lab, exactly?"

"Hey, didn't I just introduce myself? Oh, how rude of me." Dr. Kayle extended her hand to shake Reynard's. "My name is Dr. Kayle. After this, I want us to be friends. If you will. I'll let you meet up with your pals. You also don't have to serve fifteen years in prison."

Reynard didn't want to extend his hand to the mysterious man. He had to confess, though, that Dr. Kayle definitely got under his skin. His thoughts were conflicted. Reynard desired to be with his friends again and did not like to be detained for an extended period of time. He just wanted everything to go back to the way it was. Even Reynard, though, was baffled as to why Dr. Kayle would take him to the lab.

"Dr. Kayle, I have a question for you. What do you want exactly?" For the last time, Reynard questioned. Before making a decision, he had to be certain in his own mind.

"I'm doing science research. I want us to be friends so you can see my research too. That's all." Dr. Kayle had no way of explaining his true meaning. He was just trying to persuade Reynard to follow him.

After thinking for a while, Reynard couldn't help but let out a deep breath and said, "Get me out of here. Meet me with my friends and make sure they're safe. Then I'll go to your lab."

"Agreed!"
