The admittance test for the Hagun Academy isn't complicated, you submit your application and they call you in to ask some questions about why we choose this school and you're asked to fight one of the teachers to show your capabilities with your device.

Other things doesn't matter, magic knight academies only care if you're a capable fighter.

Unfortunately this is a individual process so I had to leave Ikki behind and enter myself since they're taking people in alphabetical order.

[The names are written backwards so his name is currently Ambrosius Ren.]

The first part was easy enough, Oreki Yuuri the teacher who is constantly sick was surprised to see me here but she just nodded after saying I am childhood friends with Touka who already made a name for herself in academy.

I was put against a C Rank teacher who by all means weak compared to me and passed with flying colors, on my way out I requested to be in the same room with their weakest student to amuse myself.

Oreki sensei was taken back but they only care about talent here so she can't chide me for being vain.

After that I waited for Ikki, I know he will have a duel with Oreki Sensei and I will have to haul his ass back to his apartment.

"Ren-kun why are you still here?" Oreki sensei asks as I enter the battle arena. I got in after seeing Ikki collapse after winning through my Eagle Vision.

Yeah, I merged Petruccio with this body and guess what I can see through walls. Isu DNA is weird as hell.

"I am here to get that sack of potatoes that I call a friend." I point out to Ikki who's struggling to get up.

"He's your friend?"

"Yep, now I should be going he's going to need some rest and it would be better if he didn't move." Sensei nodded to my explanation and she started looking at her files looking like she's thinking about something.

I just used an old gravity spell to make Ikki weightless and tied a rope around his wrist before pulling him after me like a balloon.

(Oreki Yuuri POV)

He's friends with that F Rank? I noted down his request somewhere ugh great time to forget something.

Aha here, he asked to be roommates with the weakest freshman year student and it was approved.

He just tricked us into becoming roommates with his friend...

I look up and see him pull Kurogane-kun like a balloon, that doesn't look like friendship also how did he make him weightless? what's his ability?

New generation is getting weird.

(Ethan POV)

"So Mr. Ambrosius I believe you want to prepare your will, in case of some sudden accidents." I am having a meeting with my lawyer. I figured I should handle this early on so I won't have much to do once time comes.

"Yes, that's true."

"Sir you want to leave everything you have to someone totally unrelated?"

"He's my son's friend and I don't pay you to ask questions." He nodded and got to work. I need to hypnotize him to make sure he keeps this information to himself but he is not a bad lawyer.

I got my uniform ready and my belongings ready. prepared some stacks of cash to throw at people as distractions.

I am ready for school.

I met up with my roommate at the entrance of the academy and we found our room. Amusingly half of the door was painted with writings saying they don't need F Ranks in this academy.

"Huh people really have a lot of free time don't they?" I mutter to myself while Ikki just laughs it off. a spike of my magical energy disperses the paint.

Following that we get in and settle our things I gave the upper bed to Ikki because I am too lazy to climb there, once we were finished I was hungry so I took out my kitchen appliances to make something.

"Ren-san what's up with that knife?" Ikki asks while I am slicing bread, Morgan made a kitchen knife version of the Toaster Dagger and it's glorious.

"You know Blazers used to be called witches and such?"

"Yeah"

"This kitchen knife is enchanted to toast the bread you're slicing."

"That sounds like a poor use of resources." I shrug it maybe but no one is going in between me and perfectly toasted bread.

The next month proved itself to be a shitty month, as expected Ikki is not allowed in the classes because of his father's involvement.

That's something expected, I also expected to be "guided" to the right path by my teachers and classmates to leave Ikki behind, which ultimately didn't work because fuck authority.

However I didn't expected this...

"I hear you've been hanging around wrong type of people." I got surrounded by teachers, they have their devices ready and one of them walking around while giving me "advice".

I honestly had to take a look at my status to make sure this world didn't suddenly turned into cultivation world, I mean I am the only A Rank in the school it's funny that they are even trying.

"... so if you don't want regrets in your life..." I pulled out a handheld game console and started playing it looks like I will be here for a while.

- A few level ups later -

"Takagi sensei I think he's not listening."

"Huh? Bastard I am trying to give you a heads up here. Beat him up let him know that he is nothing without political backing."

I sighed and paused my game, these idiots don't even know that my "father" owns one of the most successful companies in Japan.

That night group of teachers got sent to hospital with crippling injuries that would force them into retirement but thanks to the latest medical technology from Ambrosius Tech Company they can heal back to full health.

"Ren is it me or people stopped trying to be friends with you is that alright?"

"Ah it's nothing don't worry about it."

"Isn't it because you crippled half of the staff and have your mother fix them Ren?" A wild student council vice president appears.

"Toudou senpai?" Huh, I never have them met did I.

"Hello there, I hope my insufferable childhood friend is not making life harder."

"You know that's slandering."

"Ah no he has been a great friend but why did you cripple the teachers?."

"I am assuming you won't accept if I say because I could?"

"Save that for later you're joining the selection battles right?"

"Yeah!"

"Great!" And she's gone.

"So teachers?"

"Let's just say I don't like how they behave."
