Family Reunion (part 1)
After a hard day of exercise, Mu Liang cleaned himself up and let himself be dressed by Chen Qian in a royal blue formal outfit with touches of white and ivory, both earrings had orange stones like a crackling fire in a thin golden chain.
"Don't put defense items on," Mu Liang said in annoyance when Chen Qian put on a bracelet that activated a protective barrier. Not once did the protection items work properly, he felt bitter about it.
"Unfortunately, I cannot carry out that order from my prince," Chen Qian said ignoring the half-elf's bad mood, she placed a pair of luxurious bracelets and a large brooch on his chest.
"They don't really work" Mu Liang still continued to mumble, but he no longer protested to Chen Qian.
Gyasi arrived from the military base with only ten minutes to go before the emperor, he was still wearing his black combat uniform when he entered the living room of the visiting mansion.
