Chapter Six.

Yue Yue looked at her wrist watch and sighed. She has once again missed lunch. She had been working nonstop looking for ways to raise the fund for the project. She had threatened the Managers and Directors about selling their property. And it wasn't like any of them would do it. She dropped her light pen and her notepad and leaned back on her chair and shut her eyes.

A knock sounded on her door. She muttered come in with a barely audible voice. The door creaked open and Bai Yinchuan entered.

'' How did it go'', he asked as he arranged the files he was carrying on the desk.

'' Have a seat'', Yue Yue offered.

'' Thanks'', Yinchuan replied as he dragged out a seat and sat down.

'' Back to your question, it went well. A decision haven't been passed yet, we are still short of funds'', Yue Yue replied.

Yinchuan passed a bottle of mineral water he bought on his way to Yue Yue.

'' Thanks'', she replied collecting the bottle. She uncapped it and took a glump.

'' I heard they wanted to sell Akiro resort''.

'' Yes Manager Chen and Manager Luo brought it up. I was prepared for it anyway. They didn't make their plans well. They were trying to cover up all the funds they have been embezzling from the resort''.

'' What are you planning to do to them''.

'' Beat them at their own game''.

'' What of the fund. You know how important that project is to the company and to you''.

'' Am looking for ways to get them. I have a favour to ask you''.

'' Go ahead''.

Yue Yue handed a file to him.

'' I want you to go through the file, list down every investment the company has made since its resumption. I plan the get the fund from the stagnant shares they have invested in''.

'' I never thought of that'', Yinchuan said picking up the file.

'' Ask ZhenZhen to help, I want it done today''.

'' Sure. Is there anything else you want''.

'' That's all for now''.

'' Very well then, I with take my leave'', he stood up and walked to the door, then turned back to look at Yue Yue.

'' You skipped lunch again'', he asked his face showing that he was worried.

'' Over worked again. I will treat myself to dinner you guys too can come''.

Yinchuan nodded and left.

Yue Yue busied herself working once Bai Yinchuan left. It took her hours to go through the files she was holding and by the time she was done, Yinchuan and ZhenZhen had finished they work she asked them to and were knocking on her door.

'' Come in'', she replied when the knock sounded for the second time.

She was massaging her neck when ZhenZhen and Yinchuan entered. Yinchuan was holding onto a file.

'' How did it go'', Yue Yue asked as she nodded them to the seats indicating for them to seat down.

'' We were able to gather the information needed, ZhenZhen and I helped picked out the ones you should look into. Its circled'', Yinchuan said passing over the files to Yue Yue before sitting down opposite her while ZhenZhen followed suit.

'' Remember the gold mining industry they invested in for years, the one that haven't been mentioned for sometimes'', ZhenZhen asked.

'' En! I heard it was shutdown over the years because of lack of fund to sustain it. Is there anything I should know'', Yue Yue asked staring at ZhenZhen.

'' Some days ago I over heard my brother and his friend talking on the phone. I didn't know Chen Company invested in that business too. You know how he loves gathering information about folding businesses and the rest. It haven't been made general yet and the chairman must have probably forsaken the investment. The mining site had indeed shut down for a long period of time. But few months back, a company had bought the site and had hit a jackpot. From my deduction, the Chen company has a Ten percent share in the mining site. Few years after the site hit jackpot, the shares have risen drastically. The ten percent shares is now approximately hundred millions Yuan'', ZhenZhen concluded.

'' So if we are able to withdraw or sell the share we will get our profit'', Yinchuan added.

'' What do you suggest we do director'', ZhenZhen asked.

Yue Yue tapped her ball pen lightly on her desk thinking of the option that would suit them best. After thinking for sometime, she was able to come up with an answer.

'' Didn't you say that this is still hidden from the mass'', Yue Yue asked.

'' Yes it is, this development is still hidden I believe they must have a reason for that'', ZhenZhen replied.

'' According to what you said, their reason is simply this, if people learn about it, everybody would like to invest. With only a few investments, the buyers are really the luckiest. Well that aside, coming to our issue I suggest we sell five percent of the shares and leave the rest for next time'', Yue Yue said.

'' But how are we to do that, not everybody would like to buy the shares except from those with an inkling idea of what's going on'', Yinchuan voiced out his concern.

'' ZhenZhen, when you get home, tell you brother to dig out the information on the company that bought the mining site. Tell him to do whatever it takes, I will pay for his service. Leave the rest to me''.

'' Yes director''.

'' With that said, what about the remaining money'', Yinchuan asked.

'' Our stock in Monggu has been in market for years, I think its high time we sell it. The chairman does not necessarily have to know about the transaction. I will see to it. Yinchuan the hotel at the outskirts of Long village withdraw out investment from it see to it as early as possible tomorrow''.

'' Necessarily I don't question your ideas, but that hotel in a few years time will hit the market'', Yinchuan asked confused.

'' That is what everyone thinks, but it is never going to happen''.

'' The director is right Chuan. That hotel is going to fold soon business haven't been great and that village has been abandoned by people after the natural disaster that hit it, it's better to withdraw our funds now that it hasn't shortened''.

'' I will see to it tomorrow then''.

'' I will finish the rest at home, let's go have dinner my treat'', Yue Yue announced as she stood up to park her desk.

'' Alright it will be at Longten the food there is really delicious'', Yinchuan said.

'' And costly'', ZhenZhen added eyeing Yinchuan.

'' Come on Zhen er, it's the directors treat so relax'', Yinchuan replied smiling.

'' Does money grow on trees'', ZhenZhen countered.

''May be'', Yinchuan replied and received a hit on his shoulder and couldn't help but laugh. Yue Yue just watch them as they went on bickering like children it was what she envied the two for, they were free spirited and had nothing to worry about, nobody to please. Once she was done, she picked her bag, phone and car keys. She threw the key to Yinchuan who caught it.

'' Long ten it is and you're driving''.

Yinchuan nodded and grinned at ZhenZhen who was frowning at him.

Soon they were on the road with the same black Cadillac following behind.
