Vlad caress her hair patting her and she let him, she always hated the idea of other touching her.

"It okay Ivanie put pressure on your self" he told her.

Vlad phone rang and he he move away from the bed to pick it.

He stayed on the phone for about thirty minutes before he disconnected, he turn to look at Ivanie before looking at his phone again.

He was sent some files he needed to go through, James had dropped his laptop earlier.

Mrs shanks came by to drop the drugs she bought, she was urge by Ivanie to go home and take a proper rest.

Vlad accepted the offer of watching Ivanie for the night.

Ivanie operated her phone looking through the messages she was sent by her school mates.

A lot of them sent message which warmed her heart.

Ivanie was almost moved to tears she didn't know she was well loved.

The door to the bathroom strung open and Vlad walk out his hair wet, he dried it with a towels looking down.

Ivanie drool his plain top clingy to his skin, his hair was down, he look extravagant and sexy and she wonder if he was this good looking.

Lately she has been noticing Vlad in a different way, it felt right in every way. Vlad sniff am look up to see Ivanie staring at him.

He let out a smile and walk towards Ivanie.

"What?" Vlad asked folding the towel.

"Ahhh..... Um.... Ivanie swallow looking at his muscled arms, his veins were visible now that he wasn't wearing a tuxedo, she swallowed again.

Vlad noticed how she kept taking a sneak peek at him. He pressed his lips together and raise his hand to her jaw taking hold of her chin.

He brought her face up so she was staring at him, and gave her chin a pinch.

"I ....I....." Ivanie stammer.

Vlad lean forward bringing his face closer to her Ivanie held her breathe closing her eyes waiting.

Vlad lean back and chuckled he took the pillow behind her and moved away. He walk towards the couch and balance himself properly.

Ivanie opened her eyes biting her lips embarrassed, she cleared her throat and rest on her pillow pulling her duvet to her chest.

She blink rapidly looking over at Vlad who had his laptop on and was working.

Ivanie fell asleep soon the drugs injected to her drip kicking in.

Vlad worked till late in the morning constantly checking on Ivanie to make sure she was comfortable.

Britney ran into Ivanie ward with, Malachi and Jace with Jaennie behind her.

"Ivanie!!!"

Britney called seeing her friend sitting up while she had her hair combed by a nurse who was taking the pleasure of taking care of her.

"Britney!!!"

Ivanie called almost getting up her bed, Britney rush to hug her brawling her eyes out.

"Are you okay, does it still hurt, I thoughts something bad happened to you" Britney voice broke which brought a smile to Ivanie face.

"Hey don't cry am fine you don't have to worry just a little bruise that all" Ivanie said and Britney raise her hand to touch Ivanie forehead.

"Awwn" Ivanie wince.

"Am sorry does it hurt?" Britney asked and Ivanie nodded.

Ivanie turn to look at Jace and Malachi.

"Here I brought your favorite snacks" Malachi said.

"My mom wants you to have some fruits, it helps with a speedy healing" Jace told her.

"Um I made some cookies thought you might like it" Jaennie said presenting hers forward.

"Thank you guys I must have made you all worried am fine really" Ivanie told them.

The room door open and Vlad walk in, he look up to see Ivanie's friends in the room.

"Hello Mr Markin" Britney greeted loud watching as he came forward with Ivanie's meal on a tray.

"Hello" Vlad said shortly.

He dropped the tray in front of Ivanie after pulling up the side table Infront of her.

"Thank you for rescuing her" Jace said offering his appreciation.

"It my duty, she's my betrothed" Vlad said casually steering the soup, Ivanie pressed her lips together liking the sound of that, she smiled and immediately caution herself pulling off a neutral face.

Britney who saw this gave her a knowing look.

"So what going on with you two?" Britney asked pushing the wheel chair Ivanie sat in around the hospital.

"Nothing" Ivanie replied enjoying the scene down the hospital garden.

"Nothing? Why's that"

"What do you want, he's just taking care of me and all" Ivanie said.

"Right nothing more, Ivanie glare at Britney

Okay I didn't say anything chill " Britney said.

Ivanie took her seat on the bench in the garden while Ivanie sat on her wheel chair.

"Dad didn't come even after hearing about my accident, he's in Germany right now" Ivanie told Britney.

"What!!" Britney exclaimed sitting upright.

"He didn't show up, I understand he's strict and all but you were admitted and he didn't even show up" Britney said annoyed.

"He video called after I woke up, mom said he kept in touch." Ivanie said.

"Still yet, I feel offended to think your dad didn't care" Britney said.

"He does care but he's always too busy to show it, and he doesn't know how to express himself" Ivanie said defending her dad.

Britney nodded trying not to make things look bad.

"You and Malachi what wrong with you both?" Ivanie asked noticing how the two were behaving earlier.

"What? Nothing " Britney replied folding her arms she relax back looking away from Ivanie.

"Spill" Ivanie said.
