Kayla and Damon are getting dressed for the Founders' Day Parade. Jenna helps Kayla get into her dress. "Ouch, this dress hurts." "Suck it in darling" laughs Kol.
"No, no, no, no, no! It's all wrong! The marching band should be in front of the Historic Society. Matt, get up on the float. Boys, I asked you to put chairs on the Founders' Float. Ladies! Time to get on the float." "Can you believe that she was gonna be your mother in law" groans Jenna. Kayla rolls her eyes. Kol just scoffs. Elena walked into the room. Damon and Stefan observe her. "Well aren't you a picture" laughs Kol. Kayla looks at him. Kayla spots Damon and Stefan gasping at Elena. "What Darling, don't be jealous. She looks striking like Katherina". Kayla swallows. Elena, looks at Stefan.
"I need to talk to you" she says and looks at Kayla. Kayla nods. "God" curses Kol. "I gotta fes up" sighs Elena. Kayla swallows. "What now again" curses Kol. "John is my father." Kayla smiles. "My whole life I've never liked this man" curses Kayla. "Me neither." "I'm sorry" says Kayla and hugs Elena. "I just...I really hope that it's not true. What am I supposed to do? "He seems smart." "He bloody is smart" yells Kol. Kayla chuckles. "Yeah, if he wants." "If he wants, he kills you" growls Kol. Kayla laughs. "Trust me Elena, it is going to be okay." Elena hugs Kayla. She looks at Tyler who approaches her. Without saying something he pushes Elena away.
"Oy watch it mate" growls Kol. Tyler pushes Kayla closer. He grabs her tight and kisses her passionately. "That is too much mate" growls Kol. "Tyler what the fuck" growls Kayla. "Ty" yells Elena and pulls him backwards. "Leave" yells Tyler. Elena swallows. "I'm getting Damon" she says soft. "Tyler what is your problem?" "Everything" roars Kol. Tyler sighs. "I love you Kayla, I miss you and I need you." "Well I need her more" says Kol angry. Kayla trembles. "It is a little late for that Tyler, I'm over it!" "Oh yeah, and what about my bracelet then?!" "It's not yours mate." Kayla swallows. "Seriously, Tyler. I have no clue what's up with you lately, but leave me alone... For a while please. And get some help." Tyler grabs her aggressively. "Tyler" roars Kol. "I'll hurt you so much" growls Kol. Damon grabs Tyler and flips him upside down. Tyler lands on his back on the floor. "Good move mate" laughs Kol. "Damon" gasps Kayla. "This is the last time I gotta pull you off her" growls Damon and grabs Tyler up by the throat. "Damon" says Kayla and grabs Damon his arm. "Please" she asks and looks into his eyes. Damon swallows and drops Tyler on the floor. Tyler crawls away.
He holds Kayla her face. "Mate don't" says Kol. "What is the matter with you that I can't stop caring about you" says Damon softly and looks into her eyes. Kayla swallows. "Mate get your lips off my girl her lips" says Kol jealous when Damon kisses her softly. Kayla swallows. She looks into his eyes. "Damon" whispers Kayla. Damon nods. "I'm sorry" he says and wants to turn, but Kayla holds him. "Darling?" Kayla hugs him tight. Damon wraps his arms around her. "Thank you Kayla" he whispers.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome...our stunning Miss Mystic Falls court and their handsome escorts." "Darling" warns Kol. "That's us" sighs Kayla and lets go of Damon. Damon nods.
Kayla puts on a big fake smile and steps into the parade with Damon on her arm and her invincible Kol next to her. "This is Kayla Gilbert, Miss Mystic Falls." "Just smile darling." Kayla bites her lip. "I so hate Elena for making me do this." Damon chuckles. "But it suits you." "Please" sighs Kayla. "It does darling." "By the way, you should talk with your brother." "What's up with Jer?" "He read Elena her diary and is angry because she made me erase his memory." "You did what? Did you erase mine as well?" "No, you were unconscious. It was when I killed Vickie."
