Golden Sand City

"Citizens of Golden Sand City and all the people in this Kingdom, from now onwards you will be under Urza kingdom and be subject to it's rules and regulation. As long as everyone will cooperate all will be well."

The announcement was projected to all over parts of the city and every other cities along the Holon river even at the villages. It presented the basic rules and regulation including some important laws like liberation of slaves, and even regulating the authorities of nobles and military officials.

Nobles, wealthy family and companies that are dependent on slaves have been angered of the radical but could only wait for the full announcement. They heaved a sigh of relief after learning that the slaves will be interviewed first then after that they will have a choice to work elsewhere or return to their masters as full pledge workers with benefits and proper rest, and compensation. It was not good news for the rich but they could only wait.

"Sire what would happen if the rich and nobles would vent their anger on the slaves who would choose to return or those they will employ in the future, how would we protect the people rights?" A minister who Zion temporarily put as regent of the city asked in worry, as they have the culture of slavery even before hundreds of years ago.

"That is simple, Working environments or any business related structure or area should have monitoring devices, such as cameras. It is part of our law that business entities or any entities in particular that have employees would require to install such devices, if not they will be closed permanently and strip of their licenses to exercise any kind of business. Also they would have to provide lodging and health benefits to those who they will employ, and all these will be monitored by the Department of Labor." Zion looked at the ministers as he sat at the capitals throne. While construction on his back continued. The castle throne was remodeled to welcome Zions large winged throne and during his arrival, the throne room roof would automatically open immediately.

"Ministers, officers and all other involved in the government present right now. You will undergo rigorous test and interview as required by our system, if you failed these tests, you will have a chance to learn and renew your posts, but depending on your abilities to absorb and learn, I would have to remind you that not all of you will retain your current ranks and statuses. However, if you will strive hard, Urza kingdom will always have a place for you. And for those who have committed wrong in the past in any other forms, speak now or else if we learn of your doings, I will not hesitate to punish anyone. You can speak directly to the staffs and drones of your concerns and they will guide you. That is all for now."

"Sire, what of the king and his men? And what will happen to us related to him and other generals?" One concerned individual who was a cousin to Barabas braved himself to settle the burden in his mind.

"Ahhh. These matters will need to be investigated, depending on your involvement and no matter your connected or not, a family or friend will not matter. As long as you are clear of any crime, you will be safe. And for those who think that they have a role in this war, direct or indirect. Subject yourself immediately before the investigation will start because that would be too late to salvage you. And for those prisoners of war, they would have to serve their punishment as the agreements has expired, also those who sided with Commander Delfin that lead to the agreements being delayed and ultimately canceled will serve harsher punishment."

"Sire, I only sided with Commander Delfin because he intimidated us." A fatty obnoxious minister said while the others nodded in agreement and murmurs started to echo.

Zion smirked "Azraelle show them the evidence." A drone then replayed in a large projection inside the throne room the conversation they have when Delfin was the one at the throne.

It was shown how the fat man literally sided with Delfin and even instigating others. "But but...Sire forgive me..." The fat man dropped in the ground in shock.

"Guards, take this man for blatantly lying in front of his highness. His majesty the king was merciful enough and gave chance to repent. Still this shameless man continued to sow lies and deception." Rygorn reprimanded in a loud voice embarrassing everyone.

"Sire, I have committed a mistake, I will tell everything." One by one some ministers kneeled and beg for forgiveness. They did not mind the threats and warning at first as there would be no one to tell what happened inside the court room as it would affect many. But after the projection presented, they loose their pride and kneeled begging.

"That is enough, this is my last warning. Detail everything and I will have mercy, punishments will be reduced but could be avoided. But as long as you tell the truth you will be out from harm, I promise you that. I will give everyone here until this midnight, after that no mercy." Zion after saying that levitated then flown out of the window together with Rygorn and other royal guard officers.

After Zion left, those who were kneeling hurriedly lined up to the drones and staff to detail their doing, and even not related to the war was detailed. Zion has no way of knowing what happened and even if they investigate, the system would not incur punishment if no evidence is presented or satisfactory testament and witnesses therefore it would take long for everyone to be held accountable and they will have a chance to escape. The drama was intended to solve that problem and it worked well. The only evidence they have was when Delfin was instigating for the ministers to join the counter attack and not to surrender.
