Chapter 7: The reunion part 1

My feet healed after three days. In those three days, I stayed inside my room and never get out. I only instructed Butler Warren to bring food to the children and that's it.

The reunion was also moved today. Luckily, I'm healed so I could go.

I've thought very hard in those three days. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe my father agreed that they should be my bodyguard so I could take my revenge.

Or it is just my wishful thinking.

But it doesn't matter, I'll make them realize how stupid their decisions are. I'll make them regret entering my life again.

I've never really thought of taking revenge but since they find me there self then I don't have a reason not to.

They came here willingly which made me feel insulted.  They should feel guilty to face me or even get near me but they all acted like it is me who wronged them. They shamelessly entered our house without remorse.

"Young Miss, the car is ready." I nodded stood up from my bed and wear my beanie to hide my butterfly barrette

Luckily, Old Riana went somewhere today so she can't scold me for wearing jeans and t-shirts.

In her opinion, it is unladylike. My mother agreed with her and bought a lot of dresses and put away all my jeans and shirts. Even my sneakers were not safe at all!

But Butler Warren is really considerate he hide some of them and let me wear them when Old Riana is not around.

The door opened by the bodyguards outside my room as my heels clicked on the floor I slowly lift my head and saw four gorgeous men standing outside, waiting for me. 

My brows furrowed when I saw their clothes. A pair of black ripped jeans, black t-shirts, and sneakers. Some of them wear sunglasses too. 

Where's the sun, bro?

I was about to go back and change clothes but Domenicus stop me by greeting me. "Good morning, Young Miss." I look at him and nodded.

"Young Miss?" James blurted out in surprise how their friends address me.

"Any problem with that?" I asked coldly that made him stop and look at me terrified.

He shook his head and look at his friends, they just shushed him and glared at him.

"G-good morning, Young Miss." He stuttered, still can't believe what was happening.

I smirk. 

Same old James.

James is the dumbest in their group. He is like a kid who only focuses on foods and cute things. He likes adventures and fun things. So, probably he did not listen when my father discussed things with them or he did not even know why he is here and why did he end up here. They must have fooled him again.

Poor him.

They all followed me towards the stairs. Butler warren is beside me as the maids are on the line again, heads bowing while greeting me.

"Wow! I feel like I'm dreaming!" James said in amazement.

"Want me to slap you to confirm it?" I asked as I glance at him.

"Aona! Why are you being rude to me? We are friends before, you can't treat me like this!" He shamelessly said and went beside me. 

He pouted and offered me his candy.

I stared at it.

Years ago, I and them are close. We used to hang out and do things that normal teenagers do but things changed when they betrayed me.

And before, when I'm sad or upset at something he would always offer his candies to me telling me that with sweets, it can lift my mood.

"Are we?" I asked and walk faster. He was left there, too stunned to follow me.

I could hear them scolding him but I did not mind.

AT THE RESTAURANT 

"Young Miss, please behave later. If you need me I'm just one call away." Butler Warren said and look at me with worry.

"Don't worry about me Butler Warren, you know what I can do." He sighed heavily and shook his head.

"Exactly Yong Miss! I'm worried about what you'll do to them. Please do not overdo it or else Riana will kill us." He look at me pleadingly which made me chuckle.

"You are just scared of Old Riana!" I accused him and nudge at him.

"And you are not?" 

I stop laughing and cleared my throat. "I'm going!" I walk fast even though he was calling but I ignored him!

There's no way I'm admitting it! Though my actions said it all.

I was about to enter the elevator when I heard James's voice.

"Aona, wait!" I sighed and enter the elevator and waited for them.

They look at me shocked and run like a stupid dog who saw its master.

I smirk. "Come puppies, come to master."  They stop on their tracks while looking at me with their widened eyes.

I smirk evilly and push the close button before waving at them goodbye.

Serves you right, jerks!

As soon as I get out, I knew I have fooled again.

How cheap.

Everything I could see is extravagant yet elegant. The big chandelier is worth mentioning. It was so big that it caught my attention the first time I step here, and it is familiar. The interior designs are Spanish era and based on it I knew exactly who tried to fool me.

Too bad, I'm not the only one she fooled.

I leaned next at the elevator door while tapping my hands against the wall.

I was really a badass bitch before. I'm always in detention or the principal office because I've been causing a lot of trouble but they can't kick me out since I've been giving them a lot of benefits. I'm really good at my studies and have a lot of talents and besides, we owned the school.

So, it's normal that I have a lot of haters and my batch is not excluded.

I did not wait long because minutes passed when they arrived.

"Hi! Let's go together!" They look shocked but they recovered fast and look at me suspiciously.

"I'm sensing a bad spirit from you!" James shouted and point his finger at me.

The three idiots nodded while Domenicus is just staring at me indifferently. I did not mind and ignored him.

"Didn't your mother lecture you that pointing at someone is a bad thing?" I said and raises my eyebrow.

"Didn't you leave first? Why are you still here?" Lloyd asked, one of the bodyguards and three idiots.

"Your fans are stupid." I simply said and leave them behind.

They followed me and seconds later, James is walking beside me and talking about random things while I remained silent.

Tired of talking to himself, he eventually stop and stayed quiet.

I thought it would last long but he is James after all, he can't live in silence.

"Why are you wearing a beanie? Are you sick?" I frowned.

Does only sick people can wear a beanie?

"Why are you wearing sunglasses? Does the light too much for you?" He pouted and grab the hem of my shirt.

"Bully!"

"Childish."

I frowned when I heard their silent laughter but I could still hear their chuckles no matter how much they hide it.

I totally forget about them.

James is really talkative.

We all stop when we face the door for the party.

I did not know what happened to the restaurant and simple reunion. But who cares? We are here already. 

I glance at James and he instantly understand it and cheerfully opened the door.
