The foremost D-level mech, roughly a dozen meters tall, landed in front of He Ao and tossed to him a mechanical device, about sixty to seventy centimeters wide, shaped like a bat with outstretched wings.

The lower end of the device had two circular jet ports, and from its sides extended something akin to a waist belt.
