Aeon knew that the time had finally come for him to take action.

Without wasting any time, Aeon fed the five Special Life Crystals and instantly gained 200 units of Life Energy, increasing the Life Energy in his Life Space to 250 units.

'It's time to execute my plan.'

Placing one hand on the dagger, Aeon's confidence in taking over the cave increased as he slowly and silently climbed into the canyon.

'The scent in the air…is it some kind of incense?'

As Aeon got closer to the cave entrance, he smelled the incense burning scent and he became even more sure about the ritual.

Aeon stood in front of the small cave opening that was blocked by boulders and many other small stones to cover the gap.

Nevertheless, there were still many small gaps from which Aeon observed the insides of the cave.

'Even though I am sure that the Goblin Soldier didn't lie about the ritual and other things, I still have to be careful.'

One small mistake and Aeon knew he would lose his life and thus, he was being careful to the fullest.

Hence, he checked the insides of the cave and saw some injured Goblin Soldiers and another Goblin who was a little bigger than a Goblin Soldier, kneeling in the center of a crudely drawn circle that was filled with many markings.

'He must be the Goblin Captain but he is yet to close his eyes.'

Seeing that the Goblin Captain still opened his eyes, Aeon held back himself and continued to wait for the Goblin Captain to fully immerse himself in the ritual.

'He finally closed his eyes and it seems he is fully immersed in the ritual.'

After waiting for a few moments, Aeon saw that the Goblin Captain closed his eyes and became immersed in the ritual.

'It's time to kill them all.'

Without wasting any time, Aeon took out the Goblin Agility Talisman and tore it.

The seven injured Goblin Soldiers, who were resting in the corner of the cave, became alerted when they saw someone enter their cave.

"Your death."

Following those words, the Goblin Soldiers saw a figure rush at them and before they could hold their wooden clubs, the silhouette was in front of them.

With a single slash, the four Goblin Soldiers had their throats cut and fell to the ground.

After killing four Goblin Soldiers, Aeon pierced his dagger into the fifth Goblin Soldier's heart.

"Five down and two remaining."

Looking at the two shivering Goblin Soldiers, Aeon silently muttered to himself and ordered, 'Grimoire of Life and Death, what are you waiting for? Devour the corpses.'

After receiving the command, the Grimoire of Life and Death excitedly flew to the corpses and swallowed them in a single gulp.

Hence, he killed the remaining two Goblin Soldiers in no time and increased his speed boost from 55 percent to 65 percent.
