Team selection

The candidates who passed were all given their headbands. When my turn came i saw Tsunade standing there with the happuri ,she gently place it on my forehead and said me that I had made her proud.

The rookie of the year was sasuke with kunoichi being Sakura . After the spectacle was over we were taken inside for the team selection. In came Iruka and mizuki who gave a rather heart felt farewell. The teams were same as cannon with my sensei being Yamato. After our lunch i saw the respective jonin sensei take their teams and move out Team eight and ten were one of the last to move out .When i was taken out by Yamato sensei all there was left was team Seven .

Me and Yamato sensei reached at training ground zero which was pretty much exclusive to the anbu . I could see even Kakashi standing there with Tsunade ,jiraiya and the advisors and clan heads.I looked at them with confusion and Yamato came forward and said they wanted to see my full capablity to assign the optimal missions to me . I just nodded and looked at Tsunade and shouted at her to keep medics ready.

I stood infront of Yamato with my taijutsu stance , according to the anime Yamato was a ninjutsu specialist so i started with throwing six shuriken at him with wing chakra propelling it the four shuriken did a perfect ninety and started moving towards him from four direction and when he wanted to jump up he heard a wheezing sound and saw two shuriken heading towards him from above . True to his anbu training he did a seal less substitution and there stood a log skewered by the shurikens.

" Marvelous" i heard from the background but i didn't pay attention to it and charge towards him with tanto in my hand . A fierce bout of kenjutsu started with us blurring through out the field . He was trying to get within my guard but i kept him on his toes . Suddenly without any notice I applied wind chakra on my blade and struck forward. He seemed to have noticed it and dodged it but the poor tress behind him weren't lucky.

I smiled at him and a side which was repressed within me for many years started coming out. I started laughing and said ""

With a fuse seemed to have gone i tapped into my battle maniac side which i didn't knew existed . Six chains burst out from my back like spider legs and waving around menacingly i let go off my weights which created a crater on falling at the ground and also released my chakra suppresing seal and then all hell broke loose i blurred infront of Yamato sensei and started a ken-tai battle which made him fall at the back foot. I could feel the surprises emitting from the spectators and i started to fight more fiercely.

I jumped back and started performing handsigns and with a shout i said WATER RELEASE: GREAT WATER EXPLODING WAVES, a huge amount of waterfall started gathering at the air and a colossal wave struck him head on,Yamato seeing this erected a Earth wall which couldn't stop the flow ,with the quick application of water chakra he started standing on water . As both of us were starting to perform handsign , Tsunade asked us to stop.

We finished the spar and stood infront of Tsunade and everyone. She looked at me with pride emitting from her face. She said that I was at a jonin level now and i would have been given a chunin vest if the chunin exams were not scheduled in konoha within six months. Suddenly Shibi aburame looked towards her and spoke "Hokage sama you seemed to have forgotten something,he didn't even use fuinjutsu"

Realisation struck everyone and they looked at me with funny eyes,i just shrugged and did a ram sign and they saw the ground engraved with seals . Jiraiya looked at them and and then at me and said "kid you are pretty nasty".Upon Tsunade's enquiry,he told the fight could have finished ages ago If a single seal was activated.

She looked towards Yamato and instructed him to train me in my mokuton extensively. She threw a large scroll towards me which was written as" Wood release" . It belonged to hashirama jiji according to her for their further descendant.

I bowed to everyone and left the training grounds to start training.
