My eyes widened as I entered the headmaster's office of Adventus Academy, only to find Ren lounging casually on a plush armchair, sipping a cup of tea in the most relaxing way like royalty.
"Yo, Luna!" he greeted me with his casual signature, unbothered grin as if nothing happened. And somehow, I felt... mad.
I marched toward him, completely ignoring the headmaster's presence. My steps were sharp and purposeful, fueled by the frustration brewing in my chest. "How did you get here before me, huh!? I was this close to thinking you'd been captured or worse! I had to fight off a monster in the forest, alone, with nothing but sheer luck and..." I shot a glance at Nel, who stood against the wall, arms folded with that smug look still plastered on his face. "...unconventional help."
