Chapter 39: Spirit Cultivation

Asty and Aadi were currently staring into each other's eyes without blinking, as if it were a contest. The whole bookstore was engulfed in a tense atmosphere.

Aadi decided to break the silence and spoke, "I didn't teach her spirit cultivation because I was focusing on something else. Spirit cultivation isn't necessary for now."

Asty retorted as she scoffed at Aadi, "Heh, just say you forgot. Why are you making so many excuses? And spirit cultivation isn't necessary? What the heck are you saying? Forget about Alchemy, where it's very important, even in battles, it helps a lot. I can already tell that you just taught her to fight and nothing else."

Aadi looked away and started whistling, as if this had nothing to do with him. He really forgot to teach, as he was enjoying the feeling of teaching his own disciple.

Asty showed a smug grin to him and turned to Aurora, who was just silently sitting and watching the drama with a bucket of popcorn in her hands.
