Seth sighed remembering his past and said, "It's because of a mission. A mission that I took with my team three years ago."

"I was excited back then, after all I've finally gained my father's approval. I..I finally got over my cowardness, or so I believed atleast. I had gotten used to the pain so I thought I conquered the pain. Heh, now I think about it I was quite foolish back then."

"Well It was a victory on your part so it's natural to feel that way." Liana said.

Seth shook his head and said, "But what's the point of that victory when it did nothing but made me arrogant?"

Liana didn't reply and simply waited for him to continue.

Seth continued, "Back in those days, we were getting the news of increament in raids of Profound beasts. Many towns and cities were experiencing that, especially the villages."

"At that time the sect issued a mission to defend the town or city?" Liana guessed.
